To opt out of Ayamote caller ID, email the address published in its Support Center: KarlaeCarole@gmail.com. Ask to unlist your phone number and include its country code.

Ayamote states that removal can take up to 24 hours, but its support page excludes numbers marked as spam. Request review of an incorrect label separately instead of assuming the ordinary unlisting route applies.

We checked the public support page and privacy policy on October 19, 2026. The policy still carries an August 2020 date. No email request was sent and no removal result was measured. The instructions below distinguish what Ayamote publishes from practical ways to document your own request.

Choose the right Ayamote request

A caller-ID entry, an app account and a paid subscription are different things. Hiding a phone number from lookup does not itself tell you whether account information was erased or billing stopped. Decide which result you need before writing so the reply can address each item explicitly.

Ayamote's policy discusses information about people who do not use its app as well as users. You do not need to treat installing the app as the first privacy step. Start with the published contact route and describe the listing you want reviewed. For other providers, use the opt-out guide hub to find the relevant operator.

How to send the unlisting request

Confirm the published address

Open the official Ayamote Support Center and find its unlisting answer. The contact uses a Gmail address rather than the website's domain. Verify the spelling on that official page before sending personal information, especially if you arrived through an unsolicited message or an old tutorial.

Identify the number precisely

Include your phone number with its international country code. State that you control the number and want it unlisted from Ayamote's caller-ID database. If the displayed name is wrong, mention that separately. A short description of the incorrect association is more useful than a long account history.

A suggested request is: Please unlist the phone number I control from Ayamote caller-ID results. The number is my full number including country code. Please confirm the scope of the action and tell me whether you need a proportionate ownership check. Replace the descriptive number text with your own details before sending.

Keep the initial disclosure narrow

The support answer does not publish an identity-document upload requirement. Do not attach a passport, payment card, complete address book or unrelated call history on speculation. If support later asks for verification, first establish why the requested information is needed and how it will be handled.

  • Save the official source address and the date you checked it.
  • Send one clearly scoped request for the number you control.
  • Keep the sent message and any acknowledgement together.
  • Record the reply's stated action and follow-up timing.

If you want wider erasure or correction too, state that as an additional request. The Ayamote privacy policy uses the same contact address for privacy rights and says identity confirmation may be needed. Availability and scope depend on the circumstances; the support answer is not proof that every record is eligible for deletion.

What if your number is marked as spam?

The support page's exclusion matters. A number can have a visible caller label even when its owner wants privacy. If the label is inaccurate, explain the error and ask what review process applies. Do not describe a complaint as an approved unlisting request until the operator confirms that scope.

Ayamote also describes undoing a spam mark made by a user. That is different from a number owner's request to remove information from the service. A local change on your phone does not establish what another person sees in caller ID. Likewise, a reduced score does not demonstrate that a database record was erased.

For comparison, the Truecaller removal guide explains a separate provider's process. Follow each service's own requirements. A request to one app is not automatically forwarded to another app, even if both show the same name or number.

Verify the response and handle delays

Treat Ayamote's 24-hour statement as a provider-published expectation, not a measured guarantee. Keep the submission time, any verification time and the response time separately. If the request is incomplete or a spam-label exception applies, simply waiting does not resolve the missing step.

After support confirms action, check the same Ayamote surface that originally showed the problem, where you can legitimately access it. Note whether the result disappeared, the name changed, or a label remained. Those outcomes mean different things. A missing search result is a useful observation, but it does not reveal every retained internal record.

If the result persists, reply in the existing thread with the number, the original request date and a narrowly cropped example. Ask whether the issue concerns caching, verification, an exception or a separate request type. Avoid sending repeated messages with different numbers or conflicting instructions, which can make the request harder to reconcile.

Keep private screenshots locally. If you need to share an example with support, remove unrelated names and call details. Never post a full phone number in a public forum merely to demonstrate that you are trying to remove it from public view.

Account retention, subscriptions and other copies

Ayamote's policy says some information may remain after uninstalling or closing an account. It also discusses cached or archived copies and retained logs or spam reports. That makes a specific response about scope more valuable than an assumption that deleting the app clears every server-side record.

If you pay for Premium, the Support Center treats cancellation separately and points users to the subscription's Google account. Check that billing route independently. Do not interpret a privacy acknowledgement as a refund or cancellation confirmation. Keep those two records separate so you can verify both outcomes.

The phone-number removal checklist helps track exposure outside Ayamote. An entry appearing on another site may be an independent copy, not evidence that Ayamote ignored a completed request. Identify the actual source before choosing the next removal route.

Recheck after a meaningful change, such as a corrected label or a new listing appearing. If the same information returns, compare the current result with your earlier evidence and ask whether the earlier suppression still applies. No public instruction reviewed here establishes that one request prevents every future appearance.

For broader broker exposure, a free data broker scan can help identify additional work. Coverage of this particular app has not been established by this guide. Managed broker removal and the manual Ayamote email solve different parts of a privacy cleanup. The data-removal versus call-blocking comparison explains why fewer incoming calls is a separate measure from fewer public records.

For a separate caller-ID service with a public removal form, follow the Drupe guide. Its entry fields and account choices differ from Ayamote’s email route; use it only when Drupe is the service displaying the information.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Gmail contact an official route?

It is the address displayed on Ayamote's current public support and privacy pages when checked. That observation supports using the published route; it does not prove inbox responsiveness. Reopen the official page before sending because contact details can change.

Do I need to pay for Premium to request unlisting?

The public unlisting answer does not state a Premium purchase requirement. Start with the listed email. Do not buy a plan solely because an unrelated removal tutorial implies that payment is needed.

Will uninstalling the app stop billing and erase the listing?

Those are separate actions. Check the subscription provider for billing, request database unlisting by email, and ask about wider account data if needed. Save confirmation for each action rather than relying on the uninstall event.

Can I use the request for a number I no longer control?

Explain the ownership situation to support and ask what evidence is appropriate. Do not claim current control if the number has been reassigned. The policy allows identity checks, and another person's privacy may also be involved.
