Collective Data Solutions Opt Out Guide: Current Form Steps
Use the current Collective Data Solutions opt-out form with device ID, email or personal details. Check request options, verification and device limits.

To opt out of Collective Data Solutions, open its official Opt-Out & Do Not Sell Request Process page. Choose a matching method, select “Delete My Data + Opt Me Out,” and complete the verification step. The current form accepts a mobile or connected-TV advertising ID, an email address, or personal information.
This Collective Data Solutions opt-out guide reflects the public form inspected October 11, 2026. Older instructions describing only a mobile advertising ID are incomplete for this version. Device-ID requests remain device-specific, and the page asks for a valid email address so it can notify you after completion.

What the current form can match
The Collective's page concerns use and sale of mobile-device data. Its form now offers three matching methods and lets you select more than one. This matters if you have an email associated with the activity but do not know a device's advertising identifier.
A mobile advertising ID is not your telephone number. The device-ID field explicitly warns against entering a phone number. Connected-TV identifiers are also included in that field's current label. Enter only identifiers belonging to you or data you are authorized to manage.
The personal-information option requests a full name and mailing address. Those fields can help the company search, but they also disclose additional information. Choose the method that matches your situation rather than selecting every option automatically.
Our data broker overview explains why device data and named contact records require different matching approaches. A public name search cannot establish whether a particular advertising identifier exists in a private dataset.
Choose your identification method
| Form option | Information requested | Important detail |
|---|---|---|
| Mobile Ad ID or CTVID | The relevant advertising identifier | Do not enter a phone number; requests are device-specific |
| Email Address | An email associated with the record or activity | Use an address you control |
| Personal Info | First and last name, street, city, state or region, ZIP and country | The form says all these fields are required for this method |
| Optional phone | Phone within the personal-information branch | Distinct from the advertising-ID field |
| More than one method | A combination of the selected identifiers | Supply only information relevant to your record |
The current page says at least one identification method is required. It also says a valid email is needed for completion notification. Do not assume that a device ID alone provides a way for the company to contact you.
The opt-out guide hub is a starting point for other identified providers. This form concerns Collective Data Solutions; its “opt me out” wording does not give the company control over every advertising service.
Complete the three form stages
1. Identify your data
Open the official request page. Select the matching method or methods that apply. Check each identifier carefully before proceeding, especially a long device ID where one incorrect character can prevent a match.
For the personal-information branch, the form asks for the full set of name and address fields listed above. Phone is optional. If you do not want to provide that full address set, review whether the email or device option can identify the relevant data instead.
Do not use a made-up identifier to test the process. A request should concern your own data or data you have authority to manage. Our inspection opened the controls without supplying personal information or submitting a request.
2. Choose the requested action
The form offers “Delete My Data + Opt Me Out.” Its description says it will delete data it can find from the supplied information and opt you out of future collection. That is the provider's stated action, not an independently measured outcome.
Two additional options request a summary of data categories or a copy of the data found. A data export involves identity verification according to the form. Decide whether you need those extra outputs; they are distinct from simply asking for deletion and opt-out.
If you want to understand what was held before it is deleted, describe your intended sequence through the available process or ask the privacy contact for clarification. Do not assume a data-copy request automatically changes your opt-out preference.
3. Verify, submit and retain the result
The final section contains verification controls and a Submit request button. The certification says you are the lawful owner of the device or data, or an authorized legal agent. Complete those controls yourself using accurate information.
Save any receipt, acknowledgment or reference produced after submission. We did not complete the verification or submit the form, so we cannot describe a guaranteed confirmation screen. Check the contact email you provided for any next step.
- Select a matching method that fits the record.
- Keep telephone numbers out of the advertising-ID field.
- Choose deletion and opt-out when that is your goal.
- Provide a valid reply email as requested.
- Save the date and any resulting reference.
Multiple devices and changed identifiers
The page explicitly states that MAID requests are device-specific and asks people with multiple devices to submit each separately. A phone, tablet and connected television may have different identifiers. Do not assume a request for one identifier covers them all.
Advertising identifiers can change through device settings, resets or replacement. Keep a record of which identifier you used and when. If you change privacy settings before documenting a relevant identifier, you may make it harder to describe a previously collected record.
That does not mean you should keep tracking enabled just to submit a request. You can use another supported matching method where appropriate, or ask the company what information can identify the record. Avoid guessing a device ID or copying one from an unrelated device.
The page links Apple and Google guidance for device privacy settings. Those settings can reduce some future advertising tracking, but they do not themselves confirm deletion of information already held by a company. Follow the current instructions for your operating system.
Processing, verification and retained information
The request page does not give a universal completion time. Gathering the correct identifier may take longer than filling in the form. Processing can also depend on whether the company finds a match or needs further verification.
A completion email should be read for scope: which identifiers were searched, which action was taken and whether any data remains. If the response only says that no data was found, keep the identifier and date so you can compare any later evidence.
The published retention schedule describes different categories and purposes. Do not turn those ordinary retention descriptions into a guaranteed deadline for your individual request. Ask the privacy contact about any unclear exception or retained category.
The website privacy policy lists privacy@collectivedata.io for privacy-related communication. If the form fails, describe the problem and ask how to submit the relevant request. Emailing a question is not evidence that an opt-out has already been processed.
The general data-removal workflow helps distinguish sent, verified and completed requests. Record the current stage rather than marking the task complete when you first open the form.
Reappearance and other data holders
The form's action is limited to information the company can find from what you supply. New identifiers, another device or a different source can complicate later matching. Retain the original request so a follow-up can explain precisely what changed.
A request to Collective Data Solutions also does not establish what another company holds. If you have evidence of location data elsewhere, the Digital Envoy and Outlogic guide covers a separate route. Similar data categories do not make the processes interchangeable.
For a later concern, collect the source disclosure, identifier or other concrete evidence and ask whether the earlier restriction applies. A targeted follow-up is more useful than repeatedly sending every personal detail you can think of.
A free privacy scan can help find public exposure during a broader cleanup. It cannot verify private mobile-advertising or connected-TV records. Use the company's outcome and device-specific evidence for this request.
If your records identify another mobile-data service, the Kochava opt-out guide explains its separate request route. Follow the provider named in your evidence; similar services do not share one removal process.
Frequently asked questions
Is a MAID still the only option?
No. The form inspected October 11, 2026 also offers email and personal-information matching. At least one method must be selected, and the page asks for an email for completion notification.
Can I enter my phone number as the device ID?
No. The device-ID field explicitly says not to enter a telephone number. The optional phone field belongs to the separate personal-information branch.
Does one device request cover my whole household?
The page says MAID requests are device-specific. Submit the appropriate identifier for each device you own or are authorized to manage. Do not submit another adult's information without authority.
Do I need a data export to opt out?
The form presents a copy of data as an additional request option. If you choose it, the page says identity verification is needed. Decide whether you need the export rather than assuming it is required for every opt-out.
Will changing a device setting erase existing data?
A local setting affects tracking behavior on that device. It does not confirm that an external company deleted past records. Use the provider's request process for the data it already holds.
