To opt out of DealMachine, open its official privacy-request portal and choose whether to remove an email, phone number, profile or property association. Enter the matching details requested by the form, complete any verification and retain the response. Removing a data profile is separate from cancelling a DealMachine subscription or changing your login.

We checked the public portal, privacy policy and help article on November 8, 2026. The form was accessible without signing in. We did not submit personal information, request a verification code or test a completed removal. This guide describes the visible request process and the limits stated by DealMachine.

Which DealMachine request should you choose?

DealMachine request-type choices and initial matching fields; empty form checked November 8, 2026
Official public source excerpt, checked November 8, 2026. No consumer data or request submitted.

The portal offers four choices under “What would you like to remove?” Pick the choice that matches the problem instead of assuming that an email-only request covers your whole profile. A property association can be inaccurate even when the property record itself is accurate.

Your concernPortal choiceWhat to check afterward
An email tied to youMy emailWhether that email is suppressed from the relevant record
An exposed telephone numberMy phoneVerification and the scope of the phone request
Your individual data profileMy profileWhether the response covers the profile and applicable sale/sharing
An incorrect property connectionUnlink me from a propertyWhether the association was removed rather than the source record

DealMachine’s help article says that a processed profile removal makes that profile unavailable in its products. It may retain limited information to honor the request, meet obligations and help prevent re-addition. That retention is different from continuing to display a profile to customers.

Step 1: Open the official removal portal

Start with the DealMachine privacy portal. Check the hostname before entering information. You do not need to follow a sales signup path to reach this public form. If a mailed advertisement prompted your request, keep it as context without assuming the sender and DealMachine are the same organization.

The page outlines three stages: help locate your information, submit a removal request, then receive notification that processing is underway. A processing notification does not by itself establish completed removal. Keep the date, selected request type and any reference number together.

Step 2: Match the record with the visible fields

The initial form asks for first name, last name and email address. It also displays an optional phone field and an optional additional-information box. For a property unlinking request, that box specifically invites the address of the property associated with you incorrectly.

Use accurate identifiers connected to the record. A new email alias might be useful for receiving correspondence but may not locate an old record on its own. Explain an old identifier only when needed for matching; avoid uploading unrelated documents or adding a full identity history to the first message.

The form includes consent for a one-time text code or an automated call to a landline at the supplied number. It says this is for verification, not marketing, and rates may apply. We observed this disclosure but did not trigger a code. Follow the current instructions for your selected request rather than expecting identical verification for every option.

Step 3: Submit, verify and save the result

Review the scope before submitting your own request. If DealMachine asks for more information, verify the origin of the message and use its official privacy channel. Its policy says it uses information reasonably necessary to confirm identity before acting on a rights request.

The official data-privacy help article says the privacy team assists directly when the automated workflow cannot complete a request. The privacy policy also identifies privacy@dealmachine.com with the subject “Privacy Rights Request.” State the failed step and request type when asking for help.

The help article warns that the removal process can take up to 45 days. Treat that as provider guidance, not a promise of deletion on a particular day or a universal legal deadline. Verification, exceptions and the scope of the record affect what the response means. Ask for clarification if a message confirms receipt but says nothing about disposition.

What does removal leave outside its scope?

A DealMachine request concerns DealMachine’s products and processing. It does not erase a county property record or automatically recall information previously exported by another organization. If a separate business continues contacting you, ask that business about its own suppression process and source.

For a different property-data provider, use the PropertyRadar removal guide. For a separate property-information service, the Ownerly privacy guide explains a separate controller route. These requests should have their own confirmations; one provider’s reply is not evidence that another changed its records.

Keep reappearance monitoring proportionate. Record the identifying details and observation date if a profile returns, then ask whether it is a new record, an unmatched alias or information outside the earlier request. DealMachine’s retention for suppression may help prevent re-addition, but we did not test its effectiveness or establish a permanent outcome.

How should you organize wider removal work?

Use the opt-out guide hub to separate providers and keep a small request log. Include request scope, submission date, verification status and final response. Our data-broker removal walkthrough explains how to manage that wider process without treating every email as proof of completion.

If you want a starting point for checking broader exposure, run a CrabClear privacy scan. A scan and a DealMachine privacy request serve different purposes; neither should be interpreted as verification that every public property source has changed.

If your correspondence instead identifies MonitorBase, use its published privacy-rights telephone guide. Keep its response separate from a DealMachine property association or profile request.

Frequently asked questions

  • Save the exact request scope and the date you sent it.
  • Keep any verification instructions and confirmation with the original request.
  • Record the final disposition and any retained-data explanation for follow-up.
  • Use the original reference and scope when asking a follow-up question.

For an incorrect property association, distinguish the property address from your correspondence address when explaining the issue. This helps describe the requested change without suggesting that the underlying ownership record should disappear. If the response concerns only one identifier, ask whether a separate profile request is needed for the remaining information. Keep the answer so a later follow-up does not restart the case without context.

Does deleting my profile cancel my paid account?

No. DealMachine’s help article directs customers with subscription, account deletion or login changes to support and a live representative. The property-data removal form is a separate process. Check both account status and the profile request if both matter to you.

Is a phone number compulsory on the initial form?

The phone field was labelled optional during our check. The visible page also disclosed phone-code verification. We did not test later stages, so follow the current requirements for the request you actually choose.

Can protected public officials request a different route?

The help article identifies privacy@dealmachine.com for people covered by certain judicial or public-employee protection laws, including its named New Jersey and Oklahoma examples. Whether you qualify depends on the applicable rules. Ask about the appropriate verification route without emailing unnecessary sensitive documents.

Will a removal stop every letter from property investors?

That is not established by the reviewed sources. Other companies may hold independent records or earlier exports. Preserve the sender details on subsequent mail and address those organizations separately rather than repeatedly submitting the same request without new evidence.

How can I tell a request is finished?

Read the substantive response and its scope, then check the relevant exposure where you can do so safely. A receipt, verification code or processing notification is an intermediate step. Save any explanation of retained information or exceptions for future follow-up.
