To opt out of Faraday, open its official Privacy Options page and use the embedded Data Deletion/Opt-out/Do-Not-Sell request form. Select the actions you want and identify whether you are the consumer or an authorized agent. The form also lists 888-252-3169 as a phone alternative. Browser advertising settings are a separate control; they do not replace a request about information Faraday shares with its clients.

We checked the page and its linked Google form on November 1, 2026. The embedded intake loaded in Chrome after an initial inspection did not show its fields in the main page. We inspected the first stage without entering personal information, completing later verification or submitting a request. The instructions below distinguish observed fields from steps that depend on your individual request.

Separate database requests from advertising settings

Faraday's Privacy Options page describes both browser/device advertising controls and a sharing opt-out. The first set concerns advertising identifiers and settings. The sharing section leads to an intake for deletion, opt-out and do-not-sell requests concerning a person.

ControlWhere to startWhat to keep in mind
Data deletionEmbedded request formUse identifiers associated with your own record
Opt-out or do-not-sellSame form, relevant request choicesMultiple choices are available
Browser advertising preferencesTools described in Privacy OptionsApply separately to each relevant browser/device
Individual phone requestNumber in the official formProvide the information requested by the form
Multiple authorized-agent requestsPrivacy contact in the formDedicated bulk process, not repeated consumer emails

The opt-out guide hub groups other providers with separate intake requirements. Completing one company's form should not be treated as a network-wide deletion instruction.

Find the embedded request form

Open Privacy Options and scroll to Sharing opt out. The surrounding text refers to entering an email, but the current embedded intake asks for more than an email address. It is titled Faraday Data Deletion/Opt-out/Do-Not-Sell request form and identifies Faraday as the form's organization.

A browser that blocks embedded content may show the policy while hiding the form. That happened during our initial main-document inspection: the actual inputs were inside a Google-hosted frame. If the section appears empty, try a supported browser or follow the official page's form-opening control where available. Avoid searching for a random form with a similar title.

Do not weaken unrelated security settings across your entire browser merely to load one page. The published phone alternative remains useful when an embedded intake is unavailable. Record what failed so that a follow-up can explain why you used another route.

Google's surrounding interface may appear in your browser's language even though Faraday's questions are in English. Check the form's title and source relationship rather than treating translated interface buttons as a different provider.

Complete the first-stage identity and request fields

The current first stage asks for email, first name, last name, date of birth, address, city and state. Email and first/last name visibly carry required markers. The page also asks which request actions apply and whether you are the consumer or an authorized agent.

Use information relevant to the record

Start with contact and address information Faraday could use to distinguish you. Check every field against your own information before continuing. A matching problem is not solved by adding unrelated family members' details or someone else's phone number.

The form's optional and required fields can change. Read the current markers rather than relying on a screenshot as a permanent specification. If you are unsure why a sensitive field is needed, ask through the provider's privacy channel before submitting it.

Choose the actions you actually want

The request section offers Data Deletion, Opt-out and Do-Not-Sell, with an instruction to select as many as apply. Select deletion if you want existing personal information addressed, and select the relevant opt-out choices for future uses. Keep a record of those selections so you can compare them with the eventual response.

Identify the correct requester role

Select Consumer when acting for yourself. The Authorized Agent branch says proof of authority is required. Our inspection stopped before entering personal data or proceeding through later stages, so this guide does not claim that every requester sees the same verification sequence.

  • Open the form from Faraday's official page.
  • Enter accurate matching details for your own record.
  • Choose the relevant deletion and opt-out actions.
  • Select the correct consumer or agent role.
  • Review subsequent prompts, submit when ready, and retain confirmation.

The manual data broker removal workflow provides a way to separate prepared, submitted, verified and completed requests in your log.

Use the phone or agent route when appropriate

The form lists 888-252-3169 and asks callers to leave a message with the same information requested by the form. An agent using that route is also instructed to mail evidence of authority to the address shown in the live intake. Confirm the current instructions before sending documents.

For agents making multiple requests, the form directs them to privacy@faraday.ai to arrange a dedicated transfer process. It specifically discourages bulk email submissions. That is an operational route for authorized organizations, not an extra step an individual consumer must complete.

Do not label a normal individual email as a completed form request unless Faraday confirms it has been accepted. A question to support, a phone message and a verified request can represent different processing stages. Ask for a reference and any remaining requirements.

If you also need to address a different marketing database, use that provider's own procedure. The Fourleaf opt-out guide covers a separate email/phone process and a linked rights portal; it is not an alternative way to submit a Faraday request.

Understand verification and processing limits

Faraday's Privacy Options page says it has strengthened authentication and authorization requirements. It also discusses identity documents in the context of data-access requests. Do not turn that statement into a claim that every deletion request requires a passport or bank statement: the observed first stage did not establish that.

Follow the verification instructions actually returned for your request. Check that any follow-up belongs to the provider or its documented intake service. Ask what is needed and why before sharing extra information, especially when the request concerns access to a person's data.

The page publishes historical consumer-request metrics. Those numbers describe past requests and matches; they are not a promised completion time for your case. We did not submit a request or measure elapsed processing. Preserve the date you completed any required verification and ask for an expected response window if none is supplied.

Keep enough information to interpret a no-match response. A request may fail to locate a person under one email or address while another legitimately associated identifier remains relevant. Ask how to correct the matching details instead of assuming that a no-match result proves no data exists anywhere.

Reappearance and downstream copies

Faraday's page explains that browser/device advertising choices have limits. Cookies can be cleared, settings may need to be applied to each device, and these controls do not address all previously collected or shared information. A database request and browser settings solve different parts of the problem.

Ask what Faraday's response covers and whether it restricts future matching or sharing for the identifiers supplied. Data originating with another company or held by a prior recipient may need a separate request. Do not interpret a Faraday completion email as proof that every source or client has erased its records.

Use the data broker opt-out list to organize other providers you have reason to contact. Recheck your request history after relevant changes such as a move or new contact details. A free exposure scan can help identify supported public exposures, but it cannot verify the contents of Faraday's nonpublic datasets.

For a separately held marketing profile, the Data Axle opt-out guide explains another provider’s request process. Use it when your records or a provider response identify Data Axle, rather than assuming a Faraday request reaches every marketing database.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the policy show no email box in my browser?

The current intake is embedded in a Google-hosted frame. A page-level view can miss it, and browser restrictions may affect loading. Try the official form-opening option or the phone route shown in the intake rather than assuming the request system has disappeared.

Can I select deletion and do-not-sell together?

The inspected form allows multiple request choices. Select the actions that match your goals and save the wording. The provider's response, matching process and applicable exceptions determine what happens next.

Must I upload identification to request deletion?

The first stage we observed did not establish a universal document requirement. Faraday's page discusses stronger verification and documents for access requests. Read the prompts for your own request and ask for clarification before supplying sensitive documents.

Is the browser advertising opt-out enough?

It does not replace the separate sharing/deletion intake. Faraday describes browser and device controls as limited to their relevant identifiers and settings, with some choices needing to be repeated after cookies are cleared.

Does a historical response average predict my completion date?

No. Historical metrics describe past handling and matching, not the outcome or deadline of an individual request. Keep the acknowledgment and verification dates, then follow up through the official route if the response is unclear.
