Icypeas Opt Out Guide: Remove Your Business Profile
Remove your business profile through Icypeas’s opt-out form. Learn which fields are required, how suppression works, and when to contact its DPO.

To opt out of Icypeas, open its official Opt-Out page and enter the work email associated with your business profile. A social-network URL and phone number are optional in the current form.
Icypeas says it removes the profile from its services and keeps an unreadable hashed record to honor the opt-out. Contact dpo@icypeas.com if the route does not fit your situation.
This Icypeas opt out guide is based on the public form and privacy notice checked October 6, 2026. We inspected the page without sending a request. No completion time or delivered verification email was observed, so the instructions distinguish visible fields from later steps the company may request.

What does the Icypeas opt-out cover?
Icypeas is a professional-contact enrichment service. Its opt-out page concerns business information returned by the service, rather than only a newsletter subscription or browser cookie. The page describes California sale opt-out rights and objections for people in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland. Those descriptions should not be expanded into a promise about every jurisdiction or every record.
| Task | Current route | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Request business-profile removal | Official Opt-Out page | Work email required; URL and phone optional |
| Resolve a problem with that form | dpo@icypeas.com | Ask about the particular identifier or request |
| Request exclusion from service output | support@icypeas.com in the policy | Policy describes retaining suppression information |
| Change browser advertising preferences | Separate policy choices | Does not establish business-profile deletion |
Use the official Icypeas opt-out page as your starting point. The opt-out guide hub separates this workflow from other broker requests. You do not need to assume that changing an advertising setting will suppress an email-finder result.
How do you request removal from Icypeas?
The form is available on the public site. It does not ask you to buy enrichment credits or log in to a customer account before viewing its fields. The required field is labeled Work email; the social-network URL and phone-number fields are marked optional. This is a useful distinction if you want to avoid supplying unnecessary additional identifiers.
Use the email tied to the profile
Enter the work address that is associated with the record you want removed. If the issue involves an old job address you can no longer access, describe that problem to the DPO rather than silently substituting an unrelated mailbox. The public page does not explain an alternate verification sequence for inaccessible addresses.
A relevant professional-profile URL can help distinguish people with similar names, but the current form does not require it. The same applies to the phone field. Provide an optional identifier only when it helps match the record you are actually disputing; a privacy request is not a reason to supply a broader personal history.
Review the form before submitting
- Open the official Opt-Out page and locate the Opt-Out Request section.
- Enter the work email associated with the profile.
- Add a matching social-profile URL or phone number only if useful.
- Read the linked privacy notice and complete any displayed anti-abuse check.
- Submit and retain the acknowledgement if one is provided.
The page includes an anti-abuse integration, but we did not complete or submit it. Its eventual challenge and confirmation behavior may vary. A success message included in a website's source is not proof that your request has been accepted; use the acknowledgement displayed after your own submission or a subsequent provider response.
Use the published fallback contacts
The form page publishes dpo@icypeas.com and a French telephone contact. The linked privacy policy separately directs consumers who do not want their information in service output to support@icypeas.com.
If you follow up, identify the original request date, the work email concerned, and whether the issue is profile removal, suppression, or verification.
There is no need to invent a detailed legal argument. A clear request can state that you do not want your business-contact profile included in Icypeas service output and ask for confirmation of the action taken. If additional proof is requested, ask what is needed and why before sending sensitive documents.
What is retained to prevent the record returning?
The opt-out page says information supplied for the request is retained in a hashed, unreadable form solely to respect the opt-out in future. The privacy policy also describes retaining information to suppress it from output to customers. That is a stated suppression mechanism, not evidence that every piece of account or operational data is erased.
Hashing does not mean a company has no mechanism to recognize a matching identifier. Its purpose here is to support future matching without keeping the same readable request details, according to the provider's page. Ask the DPO about the applicable retention period if that is important to you; the inspected opt-out page does not give one.
The policy distinguishes data already on a customer's device from future output. Copies already received elsewhere need attention at the recipient. The general broker-removal guide explains how to separate an original profile, a provider's response, and an older customer copy when planning follow-up.
How long does the process take?
The inspected form does not publish a fixed number of days for completion, nor does it show a complete post-submission verification sequence. We therefore do not describe instant deletion or promise that a profile will disappear within a particular week. Ask the DPO or support team to confirm receipt and the expected response for your request.
The linked general privacy policy bears a January 27, 2023 update date, while the dedicated opt-out page supplies the more specific current business-profile instructions. The old policy date is a reason to check the current page and preserve its wording, not a reason to invent a newer policy date or treat every old statement as recently rewritten.
Save a short record of the email address used, date submitted, route, and acknowledgement. If no acknowledgement arrives, check the relevant inbox and follow up through the published contact channel. If the company asks for additional verification, resolve that step before assuming silence means the underlying profile was removed.
What should you check after confirmation?
Read the confirmation for its scope. Does it cover the exact work address, additional identifiers, and future service output? If a new job address later appears, ask whether it needs its own request. Do not infer that a request keyed to one identifier suppresses every future professional identity automatically.
If another sender identifies a different contact source, use that source's route. The Hunter opt-out guide, Snov.io opt-out guide, and Anymail Finder guide describe separate professional-email workflows. These are relevant alternatives to investigate, not proof that the companies exchanged your particular record.
You can also use a free privacy scan to check supported public people-search exposure. A public-listing scan is not an audit of Icypeas's internal enrichment output. Keep the direct opt-out confirmation even if a wider scan returns no match, because the two checks answer different questions.
Frequently asked questions
Is the social-network URL mandatory?
No. The current form labels it optional. The work email is the required matching field. A URL may help identify the correct professional profile, but you should not assume that providing unrelated social accounts improves the request.
Should I supply my phone number?
The phone-number field is optional in the inspected form. If the phone number is part of the profile you want suppressed, you can consider including that matching identifier. If it is not relevant, the page does not require you to add it merely to submit the form.
Does clearing cookies complete the opt-out?
No. The dedicated business-profile form is separate from the policy's browser advertising controls. Clearing cookies or choosing an advertising opt-out does not demonstrate removal from professional-contact service output.
Can Icypeas remove a list a customer already downloaded?
The policy warns that suppressing future output does not remove information already on a customer's device. Ask the recipient about its own copy and the source it used. A provider confirmation should not be read as a recall of all past downloads.
What if I live outside the named regions?
The page names California and European objection contexts. If your location or request does not fit those descriptions, contact the DPO to ask what route is available. Do not select an inaccurate location or assume identical rights everywhere.
Sources and verification limits
Checked October 6, 2026: the official Opt-Out page and its linked privacy policy. Evidence includes visible form fields and published contact details. No personal data was submitted, no customer account was purchased, and no actual removal result was measured. Recheck the page if its controls differ when you visit.
