Nymeria Opt Out: Request Removal of Your Contact Data

Use Nymeria’s official opt-out form to request contact-data removal. Check required fields, verification limits, follow-up steps, and reappearance risks.

To opt out of Nymeria, open its official Do Not Sell page, enter your name and email, and choose “Do Not Sell.” Add relevant matching details if needed, then submit the request yourself. The page says this route is for stopping the sale of your data and removing it from Nymeria's database. Nymeria says it will verify the request details before processing.

Our October 4, 2026 browser check found required name and email fields, an optional phone field, a request selector, and a details box. The page did not publish a firm completion deadline or show the later verification procedure. This guide separates the visible intake from those untested stages.

Start at Nymeria's official opt-out page. For other databases, use the opt-out guides hub; a request here does not cover other companies.

Step 1: Establish what information is involved

Nymeria markets professional contact data, including email addresses, phone numbers, and social links. A message from a recruiter or salesperson can be a clue to the record, but unsolicited outreach alone does not prove Nymeria supplied it.

If possible, ask the sender which source it used. Save the relevant contact address or public profile URL. Limit your request to information that helps Nymeria match your record rather than listing every private detail you possess.

Step 2: Select Do Not Sell and describe the desired removal

The request selector offers “Do Not Sell” and “Data Request.” For the removal workflow described at the top of the page, choose “Do Not Sell.” In Details, you can explicitly ask to halt sale and remove the matching database record.

A useful sentence is: “Please stop selling my contact data and remove the matching information from your database. Please confirm the identifiers covered and tell me whether any verification or retained record is necessary.”

That is suggested wording, not a claim that the form requires this exact text. If you want a copy of your data instead, use the appropriate request choice and explain the scope. Do not rely on the selector alone to communicate several different requests.

Step 3: Provide the required information and submit

Complete the name and email fields. Include a phone number only if it is relevant to the record you want matched. The visible form does not mark Phone or Details as required.

Check the information before submitting, then complete any security challenge presented by the page. Our browser inspection did not submit the form. We therefore cannot describe a success screen, promise a confirmation email, or claim a tested processing time.

Keep your own record of the submitted details and date. Avoid sharing identity documents or unrelated sensitive information in the free-text box unless Nymeria later explains why specific evidence is necessary.

Step 4: Follow the provider's verification response

The opt-out page says Nymeria will verify request details. It does not explain every possible verification method in the initial intake. Monitor your reply address and check spam for a response associated with your request.

If your matching information contains a former work email, explain whether you still control it. Ask the provider what alternative it accepts. Do not assume a particular code, document, or deadline without instructions from the privacy team.

The page publishes hello@nymeria.io and +1 (503) 894-5199 as contact options. If the form fails or a response is unclear, refer to your original request date when asking for help. No call or email was sent during this check.

How long does Nymeria removal take?

The inspected opt-out page does not state a fixed processing period. It says requests are verified and processed. A precise number of days would therefore be an unsupported promise in this guide.

Ask for the expected response date after intake. If the provider supplies one, use that date for follow-up. Keep acknowledgment, verification, and final removal confirmation as separate milestones in your records.

The general data broker removal guide offers a broader way to organize those milestones. It is especially useful when you are handling several contact-data providers at once.

Account closure and database removal are different

Nymeria's privacy policy discusses customer accounts, including retention after an account is closed for purposes such as fraud prevention. That is a separate context from a noncustomer asking to remove contact data sold through the service.

If you are both an account holder and a person in the dataset, identify both roles. Ask which records the response covers. A statement about a closed account should not be read as confirmation that every contact record disappeared.

What if your information appears again?

Keep the original response so you can ask Nymeria to investigate a recurring record. Explain whether the repeated exposure involves the same email, a new job, or a different phone number. The public form does not give enough detail to promise that every future identifier will be suppressed automatically.

Other providers may hold separate copies. Use the People Data Labs guide or RocketReach removal guide when you have reason to address those databases too.

To widen the check, run a free data broker scan, then track verified exposures with the broker opt-out directory. Neither a scan nor a Nymeria request establishes internet-wide deletion.

A practical request log can stay small:

  • Record the date, selected request type, reply email, and identifiers you asked Nymeria to match.
  • Save any on-screen reference you receive after submitting; our inspection did not establish whether one is always issued.
  • Keep verification requests and your replies together so you can tell whether the provider is waiting for something.
  • Ask the final response to distinguish removal, a record that could not be found, and any retained information.
  • If you follow up by phone or email, refer to the existing request instead of starting several inconsistent cases.

For example, a new job can leave two plausible work addresses associated with your name. Explain which address the unwanted record uses rather than asking the provider to infer it from your name alone. A social-profile URL can provide context when the record is ambiguous, but it should relate to the person making the request.

If Nymeria says it cannot locate a record, keep that response and compare it with the evidence that led you there. A sender naming a different data supplier would change the next step. A generic marketing email without a source does not establish that Nymeria still holds the data.

The follow-up should stay factual: what you requested, what was verified, and what remains unclear. This avoids turning an untested intake form into an assumed promise of a particular outcome.

Frequently asked questions

Must I supply a phone number?

The inspected form marks name and email as required. The phone field is optional; add it when it helps match the information you want removed.

What does Data Request mean on the selector?

It is a separate choice from Do Not Sell. Explain the information or action you want in Details and ask Nymeria to confirm the request scope.

Can I submit without a paid Nymeria account?

The public form opened without a login or purchase. We inspected the intake only and did not submit a consumer request.

Does removal also delete the original social profile?

The opt-out addresses Nymeria's database. You would manage the source profile through that source's own controls.

What should I do if I cannot confirm completion?

Follow up through the contact details on the opt-out page with your original request date. Ask what was matched, what action was taken, and whether anything remains to be verified.
