Precisely Opt Out: Privacy Form, Deletion and Data Sales
Use Precisely’s privacy form for deletion and sale opt-outs. Understand country routing, one-right requests, cookies and separate PlaceIQ choices.

To opt out of Precisely data sales or request deletion, start with the Privacy Web Form linked from its current Global Privacy Notice. Choose whether you are acting for yourself or as an authorized agent, then follow the country-specific route. The form states that each request covers one privacy right and one email address. Cookie Settings is a separate control for website advertising and does not replace a request about data products.
Last checked October 3, 2026. We inspected the official notices, privacy-choices page and initial routing form. We selected the public “Myself” option to inspect the next control but entered no personal information and submitted no request. This guide does not invent fields or confirmation behavior on later country-specific forms.

Select the right Precisely privacy path
Precisely's Global Privacy Notice covers its website, services and data it makes available or licenses to business customers. It describes business contact information, information about addresses and properties, and some device information received from suppliers. The precise category matters when explaining what you want removed or restricted.
The Your Privacy Choices page separates website advertising, Precisely data sales and PlaceIQ-related choices. These should not be treated as one universal switch. Use the section matching the product or information in your request, and ask for clarification if you are uncertain which entity holds it.
| Objective | Official route | Scope to check |
|---|---|---|
| Delete or access personal data | Global Privacy Notice's Privacy Web Form | Residence, requested right and relevant records |
| Stop Precisely data sales | Privacy request route identified in the notices | Personal data licensed or supplied through the relevant service |
| Change advertising on Precisely.com | Cookie Settings | Browser-based website advertising preferences |
| Exercise a PlaceIQ choice | Dedicated PlaceIQ section on Your Privacy Choices | Separate product and identifier context |
Use the opt-out guides hub for other companies. A related mapping or location-data service is not automatically part of Precisely's request system.
Follow the routing form carefully
Open the Global Privacy Notice and use its Privacy Web Form link. During our check, that link led to a OneTrust-hosted welcome page branded for Precisely. Starting from the notice provides a way to verify that an external form host is actually authorized by the company.
The welcome page explains that it routes you to the appropriate form. Choosing “Myself” exposed a country-of-residence control. The separate authorized-agent option is for someone representing another person. Select your true role and location, then read the destination form before entering identifying details.
- Start from the current official notice rather than an old saved form URL.
- Choose your role accurately: yourself or an authorized agent.
- Select your real country of residence and follow the resulting route.
- Identify the single privacy right and email address covered by that request.
- Describe the record or product precisely enough for the company to investigate.
- Save the final submission result, reference and any follow-up instructions.
The routing page's one-right, one-email rule is important if you want both deletion and a sale opt-out, or use several email addresses. Follow its instruction to make separate requests as needed. Keep a short list of these combinations so one confirmation does not get mistaken for completion of every request.
We inspected the routing stage only. The general instructions above are not a claim that every country receives identical fields, documents or buttons. If the destination does not load, return to the notice and the relevant state supplement rather than guessing a form address.
Describe the data and handle verification
You may be concerned about a business contact record, an address-associated data product or a device-related record. Explain the category you know about and provide the reference you actually have. Do not claim that the company holds a particular device identifier or property history without evidence.
The Global Privacy Notice says Precisely may ask for information to confirm identity and the right to exercise a request. It may also ask clarifying questions. Respond to the specific need and check the secure submission route before supplying extra proof. No universal requirement to upload identity documents was established at the initial form stage.
The U.S. State Privacy Supplement lists a toll-free contact, 1-866-249-1670, for certain rights such as access, deletion and correction.
It points sale opt-outs to the web form and describes responses by email. Read the route for your actual right instead of assuming every telephone request covers every choice.
The supplement's 45-day statement concerns appeals of certain refusals. It should not be repurposed as a promised initial deletion deadline. Ask for the applicable response period in your request acknowledgment and retain any extension explanation.
Keep website cookies and product records separate
Turning off targeted-advertising sharing in Cookie Settings addresses a website preference. It does not identify all the address, business-contact or device records associated with you in a separate product. Conversely, a data-product deletion request does not necessarily change every browser's cookie settings.
Precisely's privacy-choices page places PlaceIQ options in a distinct section. If location-related data is your concern, read that section and name the relevant product. Do not assume a request concerning a work email is sufficient to match every mobile identifier.
Other location and property providers also maintain separate processes. Our Foursquare opt-out guide and CoreLogic removal guide provide adjacent routes when those providers are relevant. These links do not imply common ownership or a shared deletion system.
A third distinction concerns services performed for a customer. Precisely's data-processing FAQ explains that requests about data it processes on a customer's behalf may be directed to that customer. Ask who controls the particular record if the response points you elsewhere. Closing that loop matters more than repeatedly submitting the same request to the wrong organization.
Confirm scope and plan later checks
A form submission confirms a request, not a completed removal. Track the submission, verification and final response as separate stages. If you sent requests for several rights or email addresses, associate each reference with its original objective.
The notice allows retention for purposes including legal, regulatory, accounting and reporting obligations. If some information remains, ask what category is retained and what use is restricted. A retention explanation should not be silently interpreted as either complete deletion or total refusal.
Data products may incorporate information from independent suppliers and public records. A Precisely response cannot, by itself, prove that an originating public record has changed. If a later record reappears, compare the identifiers and source before deciding whether it is the same request scope or a different copy.
The data broker opt-out directory helps locate separate provider procedures. The guide to removing yourself from data brokers explains how to keep a manageable log rather than sending repeated untracked requests.
To check for additional covered people-search exposure, run a free data broker scan. It is a starting point for supported sources, not a search of every private Precisely product or customer system. We have not tested a completed consumer removal in this guide.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the form hosted outside precisely.com?
The current official notice links to a OneTrust privacy portal. Verify that link from Precisely's own site before entering information. A third-party host alone does not establish either legitimacy or fraud; the provider's published link is the relevant evidence.
Can I request deletion and a sale opt-out together?
The welcome page says each form covers one privacy right for one email address. Follow that routing rule and retain separate references where multiple submissions are needed. Do not assume a single selected right includes all others.
Does the first routing page complete my request?
No. Its instructions say you will be routed to another form and must complete that corresponding form to submit the request for review. Save evidence from the final stage rather than only the initial welcome page.
Should I use an authorized-agent form for my spouse?
Use the representative route only when you have authority to act and can meet its requirements. Do not choose “Myself” while supplying someone else's data. The company may need evidence of permission.
Will this remove property information from public records?
The request concerns Precisely's processing. The originating record and independent recipients can have separate rules. Ask for the exact outcome rather than assuming a provider opt-out changes the source record.
Sources and verification scope
Checked October 3, 2026: official Global Privacy Notice, Your Privacy Choices, U.S. State Privacy Supplement, data-processing FAQ and the linked OneTrust routing form.
Browser evidence covers the initial role and country controls. No consumer request, verification document or removal result was submitted or tested. This is practical guidance, not individual legal guidance.
