To opt out of RampedUp, open its public Privacy Center, use the Opt Out Request tab, and enter the email address associated with the data you want removed. Country is required; phone and first and last names are optional on the inspected form. RampedUp says this request combines sale/sharing opt-out with deletion of records it holds. This RampedUp opt out guide explains the form, the separate access-request tab, and why copies held by sales teams can still need follow-up.

Last checked October 10, 2026. We inspected the public request form and linked policy. We did not submit personal information, solve a CAPTCHA, or test a completed removal.

What information does this request concern?

RampedUp describes its service as business-to-business information using professional and company data. Its public site discusses contact details and sales-data workflows. If a work email or professional profile is your concern, identify the address that belongs to that record before starting.

A business contact can exist in more than one place. RampedUp's database, a customer's downloaded list, a CRM entry, and an original public source are separate copies. Sending a request to RampedUp is a concrete first action, but it does not establish that every organization using similar data has removed its own copy.

Start with the opt-out guide hub when several companies are involved. It helps you follow each provider's actual process rather than reusing a form that belongs to somebody else.

How to complete the RampedUp opt-out form

Open the official RampedUp Privacy Center. The two visible tabs are Opt Out Request and Data Subject Access Request. The opt-out tab says that sale/sharing restriction and deletion happen through the same request. This is the appropriate starting point when removal is your aim.

The form instructs you to enter the email address of the data you want removed. That matters if you have an old work address, a current business address, and a separate personal contact address. Do not assume that supplying a convenient but unrelated email will identify the record that concerns you.

  • Enter the email address associated with the record you want removed.
  • Select your actual country. The observed country list includes an Other option.
  • Add optional phone, first name, or last name only when useful for matching the correct record.
  • Complete the displayed security challenge yourself and review the details.
  • Submit the request and save the confirmation, reference, and date if supplied.

The page explicitly says it will respond whether or not you consent to further contact. It also says the supplied information is used to respond to the request rather than for another purpose. You should not need to agree to marketing messages just to ask for removal.

No paid trial or subscriber login was required to reach the form during inspection. The page contains navigation for commercial services and signup, but those are separate from the privacy request. Avoid signing up for a sales-data account merely to use a public rights form.

What if the email address is old or inaccessible?

The record-matching address and the inbox you can currently use may differ. The initial opt-out form does not show a separate correspondence-email field. If you cannot receive messages at the address tied to the record, contact RampedUp through its published support details and ask how to verify your authority safely.

Its public contact is contact@rampedup.io and the listed toll-free number is (888) 278-3433. The linked policy describes authenticating written requests through the online form. Treat support as help with the designated process, rather than assuming that a phone conversation or generic email automatically completes deletion.

Do not provide an employer's internal mailbox contents, an entire contact database, or another person's details to prove a single record belongs to you. Explain the mismatch first. If further information is required, ask which specific evidence is necessary and where it should be supplied.

For related professional-contact exposure, the Apollo opt-out guide and ZoomInfo opt-out guide cover separate systems. Requests to those providers should use their own matching and verification instructions.

How long does the process take?

RampedUp's linked privacy policy describes confirming receipt within 10 days and responding to a verifiable consumer request within 30 days. It also describes additional time, up to 90 days, with written explanation. Those statements appear in the rights-request context and should not be presented as a tested completion time for every request worldwide.

The public opt-out screen does not prove what happens after submission. Verification, matching, exceptions, and customer updates can affect the process. An acknowledgment is different from a final response saying what data was removed or restricted.

Keep a simple case record: provider, matching email, request date, reference number, acknowledgment, and final response. Check spam for any follow-up. If a case appears stalled, refer to that record and ask whether RampedUp needs further verification. Repeated unexplained submissions can make the correspondence harder to track.

If the response refuses part of a request, ask for the reason and the affected data category. The policy describes exceptions; the form's combined-request wording does not remove those qualifications. Avoid claiming a permanent, exception-free result based only on a submission screen.

What happens to customer copies and later records?

RampedUp's policy describes an opt-out list using its RUID identifiers to protect the identities of data subjects. Its official opt-out list explanation describes how removal information can be passed along to customers. This is a propagation mechanism, not proof that every recipient has already updated every database.

If a specific company continues contacting you, address that company's own processing and unsubscribe route. Keep the sender, dates, and relevant record details so you can ask a precise question. RampedUp may not be the source of every later sales message using the same email address.

Professional information also changes when you move jobs or use a new address. A later record could contain a different identifier from the one in your original request. Save the earlier completion notice and explain the new evidence when following up. Our data broker opt-out directory helps organize additional providers without assuming that they share one suppression list.

To check public personal-record exposure beyond sales databases, run a free data broker scan. A scan does not confirm whether a private CRM entry or every RampedUp customer copy has been deleted.

The Minerva BI opt-out guide covers a different professional-data and audience workflow. It separates deletion from other request types rather than using this combined form.

Frequently asked questions

Are the phone number and name fields mandatory?

They were labeled optional on the inspected opt-out form. Email and country were required. Provide optional details when they help identify your record, rather than filling every field automatically.

Does opting out also request deletion?

The current Opt Out Request tab explicitly combines sale/sharing opt-out with deletion of held records. Read the eventual response for scope and exceptions. A combined request is not evidence that every action has already been completed.

Do I need to consent to more contact?

The form says it will respond whether or not you consent to further contact. Privacy-request correspondence is different from agreeing to promotional messages. Keep any verification messages needed to finish your case.

Is the Data Subject Access Request tab the same thing?

No. Access seeks information about data held or used. The opt-out tab is the removal-oriented route. Choose the action that matches your goal and read its instructions separately.

Will this stop every cold email?

No universal result is established. Senders may have data from other sources or retain their own copies. Address identifiable senders and other providers separately while keeping your RampedUp request record.
