To opt out of SalesQL, open its Privacy Center, choose “Remove me from SalesQL,” and enter the email associated with your profile. Confirm that the address is yours, request the verification email, and follow the inbox link. SalesQL says it suppresses the profile within seven days of email verification. Sending the initial form alone does not complete that process.

We inspected the public form on October 4, 2026 without submitting personal information. It offers an optional LinkedIn URL and says no account is required. The main choice is between profile suppression, broader erasure, and unsubscribing from SalesQL marketing.

These are SalesQL's stated processes, not results measured by CrabClear. Choose the action that matches your goal at the official Privacy Center. Use the opt-out guides hub for separate provider workflows.

Step 1: Open the Remove me request

Find the “Submit a privacy request” section and select “Remove me from SalesQL.” The request panel explains three stages: submit email, verify inbox, and receive confirmation. The page may show other rights alongside it; check the active request title before proceeding.

SalesQL describes a database used for professional sales, marketing, recruiting, verification, and enrichment. Removing yourself here addresses that provider's profile. It is different from changing your public professional profile or closing an employer's SalesQL workspace.

Step 2: Enter the matching email and optional profile URL

Use the email associated with the record you want removed. The form uses it both for matching and to send verification. The optional LinkedIn URL can help SalesQL locate the right professional profile, including when the email is not in its database.

The form includes an ownership acknowledgment. Read it before selecting the option to send the verification email. Only supply information that belongs to you or that you are authorized to use in a privacy request.

If an old work inbox is inaccessible, email privacy@salesql.com and explain that limitation. Ask about another way to verify your relationship to the record. Do not use somebody else's inbox merely to get past the first stage.

Step 3: Verify through your inbox

Check the inbox and spam folder for SalesQL's message. Follow the verification instructions after checking that the message relates to the request you just made. The seven-day period shown for removal starts after email verification.

Our inspection stopped before this stage because it would send a real request. We verified the visible form and its instructions, not the content of a delivered message or a completed deletion.

If no message arrives, check the address for a typo and whether your employer filters automated mail. Contact the published privacy address if you cannot resolve the issue. Repeatedly requesting new messages can make it harder to know which confirmation is current.

Step 4: Keep the completion response

Save the confirmation and note the verified email, profile URL, and request date. If the stated period passes without completion, follow up with those details. Ask whether suppression covers all matching business contact details or whether another identifier needs attention.

SalesQL says it retains a suppression marker to prevent the profile from returning. That small retained record serves a different purpose from leaving the profile available to business customers. Ask about it if your goal is broader erasure rather than ordinary profile suppression.

What if I want erasure as well as suppression?

The “Delete my data” choice addresses erasure beyond the standard opt-out. SalesQL's Privacy Center separates that request from “Remove me.” It also lists access, correction, objection, and agent routes, with availability and timing depending on location.

Do not treat the page's regional legal references as a promise that every request has identical scope. Ask the privacy team to explain exceptions and retained records in the response. This guide describes the published process rather than deciding your legal entitlement.

For a request log across companies, use the general broker-removal guide. It helps keep provider responses and verification steps separate.

Why might business outreach continue?

SalesQL describes data from public business sources, customers, enrichment, and contributor signals. A suppression marker is designed to stop a removed profile returning in its own system. It does not prove that independent senders have erased contact lists they already hold.

Ask persistent senders to stop and tell you where they obtained the information. If the evidence points to another platform, the Apollo opt-out guide and RocketReach guide cover separate requests.

You can check broader public exposure with a free scan. That is a starting point for other records, not a SalesQL removal receipt. Keep the data broker directory alongside your request log as you work through verified exposures.

Use this short request log to avoid stopping after the first click:

  • Save the email address and optional profile URL you submitted; those explain which professional record SalesQL was asked to match.
  • Mark the date you requested a verification email separately from the date you actually completed the inbox step.
  • Keep the final confirmation in the same folder as the original request so you can reference it if the profile returns.
  • If you contact privacy support, state whether you want profile suppression, erasure, access, or only marketing unsubscribe.
  • If your work inbox is inaccessible, explain that problem before attempting the same form with an unrelated address.

A failed verification message and a failed record match are different problems. The first concerns control of the inbox; the second concerns whether the details identify a profile. Ask support which part needs attention so you do not repeatedly resend information that cannot resolve the issue.

If the final answer says no profile was found, check the exact identifiers in that answer. That response may be sufficient for the address you supplied, while a former employer email remains a separate question. Only add identifiers that are yours and relevant to the exposure you are trying to address.

Keep any later complaint specific. A new marketing message may come from a company's saved contact list or a different source. Ask the sender about the source before treating every message as evidence that SalesQL's suppression failed.

Frequently asked questions

Is SalesQL removal free?

The inspected form says no account is required. There was no payment step in the public intake. We did not submit a request or test any paid product.

Is the LinkedIn URL mandatory?

The current form labels it optional. It can help match a profile, but the email is the field used for verification.

When does the seven-day clock start?

SalesQL's removal panel says it starts after email verification. Merely clicking the first button is not evidence that verification or suppression finished.

Does unsubscribing delete my professional record?

The Privacy Center offers marketing unsubscribe separately. Use the profile-removal option if the database record is your concern.

Can a SalesQL customer use this form to close a workspace?

The center directs logged-in customers to account-level controls inside the product. Ask SalesQL about any separate database record instead of assuming workspace changes cover both roles.
