TelephoneLists.biz Opt Out: Requests and Buyer-Copy Limits
Request a TelephoneLists.biz opt-out or deletion through its published contacts. Understand verification, response timing and copies held by prior buyers.

To opt out of TelephoneLists.biz, use the contact details in its official California privacy notice and state whether you want deletion, a sale opt-out, or both.
The notice lists sales@evs7.com, 800-713-8353 and 972-713-6622. It expressly warns that deleting its copy does not remove information already sold to customers. This guide explains that boundary and how to follow up.
We checked the live notice on October 29, 2026. Its displayed revision date is January 1, 2020, so we treat it as the provider's currently published instructions, not a complete statement of current privacy law. We inspected the public page without sending an email, making a call or submitting personal information.
Choose the outcome you actually need
The official California notice concerns Electronic Voice Services, which operates TelephoneLists.biz. A request to remove a record from its list business is different from cancelling a buyer's subscription. You do not need to buy a list or sign up for a trial to begin asking about your own information.
| Your goal | What to request | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Remove matching personal information | Deletion of eligible records | Erasure of every prior buyer's copy |
| Stop future sale of matching information | Sale opt-out or suppression | Removal of unrelated source records |
| Stop messages from one caller | Contact preference with that caller | A database-wide deletion |
| End a paid list subscription | Customer billing support | Removal from a consumer calling list |
Explain which of these outcomes matters to you. If both deletion and future sale suppression are wanted, say so separately. A reply confirming only one action may leave the other question unanswered. Save the wording of your original request so that you can compare it with the response.
The notice is written for California residents. If you live elsewhere, describe your actual location and ask which request process applies. Do not select or claim California residence merely to use a particular instruction. Our general data broker removal guide explains how to organize requests across different providers.
Send a specific request through the published contact

The notice's Contact Information section gives sales@evs7.com and the two telephone numbers above.
The site footer separately lists sales@telephonelists.biz for sales and support. Start with the contact explicitly attached to the privacy instructions, and explain that the request concerns TelephoneLists.biz personal data.
- Open the official notice and confirm the contact details are still present.
- Identify the action you want: deletion, sale opt-out, access, or a combination.
- State that you are asking about your own record, or disclose your actual authority if acting for someone else.
- Provide enough context for the privacy team to explain its matching requirements.
- Follow the verification instructions through the official channel.
- Save the acknowledgement and the final response as separate records.
You can use a subject such as “TelephoneLists.biz privacy request: deletion and sale opt-out.”
In the message, identify the record or contact detail at issue and ask what is needed to match it. Avoid sending a passport, payment card or complete identity history with the first message. A broad list of possible data categories in a policy is not a checklist of documents you must supply.
If you call, ask for a reference number and a way to receive written confirmation. Write down the date, the requested action and the follow-up channel. A conversation that explains the process is useful, but it is different from confirmation that a record has been located and actioned.
The notice mentions an online Request to Know form. We did not establish a separate working form from that reference during this review. The guide therefore uses the explicitly published email and phone alternatives instead of inventing a button sequence. If the contact changes, return to the official site rather than relying on an old copied form URL.
Complete verification without expanding the request unnecessarily
The notice describes matching information and possible additional verification for access or deletion. Ask which identifiers are needed for your particular record. A business telephone listing, a residential listing and a customer account may not use the same matching details.
If the record contains an old address or a former telephone number, explain that distinction. Do not assume a new contact detail will locate the old record automatically. Equally, avoid sending unrelated household members' information simply because it appears beside yours somewhere else. Each person's request needs an appropriate basis and scope.
The provider may retain some information or decline a request when it cannot verify the match. Ask whether the issue is identity verification, no matching record, a retention exception, or a different organization holding the data. Those answers lead to different next steps. Repeating the same message without addressing the reason may not help.
Use a private request log rather than posting screenshots of your identifiers publicly. Record the provider, contact route, requested action, date, verification step and response. If you also have a separate direct-marketing record with another list company, the Great Lakes List Management guide describes its own residency-specific process.
Understand the stated response timing
TelephoneLists.biz's notice says it confirms receipt within ten days and provides a written response within 45 days, with an explained extension up to 90 days. These are published response statements, not a removal time measured by CrabClear. The page's older revision date is another reason to ask the provider to confirm the applicable schedule for your request.
Track receipt, verification and the substantive response separately. An automated acknowledgement tells you the message arrived; it does not show that eligible information has been deleted. If the provider asks for further verification, keep that request with the original reference and note when you completed it.
If the stated window passes without a substantive answer, follow up in the existing thread with your reference and the requested outcome. Ask for the current status and an explanation of any extension. Do not describe a missing acknowledgement as proof that the company has refused deletion; first check delivery and the official contact details.
Check prior buyers and continued calls separately
The notice explicitly says previous customers' lists will not have information removed merely because TelephoneLists.biz deletes its own copy. That makes the origin of continued contact important. Ask a legitimate caller which business holds your details and how to exercise that business's contact preferences.
A reduction in calls is not a complete database audit, and a continued call does not prove this specific request failed. Numbers can circulate through different suppliers, older purchased files and new interactions. Preserve the sender or caller details needed to distinguish those possibilities without engaging with suspicious messages.
The guide to reducing spam calls covers additional measures for the communication channel itself. Broker requests and call controls solve different parts of the problem. The data broker opt-out directory can help identify other relevant providers when there is evidence that they hold your information.
For public listings beyond this private list business, a free privacy scan can provide another starting point. A scan does not inspect every private telephone database or certify a TelephoneLists.biz deletion. Use the opt-out guide hub to find the appropriate manual workflow for each separate exposure.
Frequently asked questions
Must I purchase a list to remove my information?
The privacy notice provides contact routes for consumer requests. Buying a list or signing up for a trial is a separate commercial action and is not the starting step described here. Ask the privacy contact to explain matching requirements if you cannot identify your record.
Is cancelling a TelephoneLists.biz subscription enough?
That concerns a buyer account and billing. If your goal is to remove personal information sold in calling lists, make an explicit privacy request. Someone can be concerned about a database record without ever having been a paying customer.
Does the request stop every telemarketing call?
That outcome is not established by this process. The notice preserves the distinction between its own records and copies already sold to customers. Other callers may use different sources. Address each identifiable source and communication channel separately.
What if I cannot access the online form mentioned in the notice?
Use the email or telephone contact published in the same notice and describe the access problem. We verified those published alternatives, not a completed online submission. Keep a written record of any instruction you receive before sharing additional information.
How should I check whether information reappears?
Compare a later contact or listing with the earlier record and response. Check whether the organization, telephone number and date match. New collection and older recipient copies are different possibilities; ask which applies rather than assuming all later activity came from one database.
