Vendelux Opt Out Guide: Remove Your Professional Profile
Request Vendelux profile removal through its privacy email or center. Understand personal versus company records, verification and event-data limits.
To opt out of Vendelux, request removal of your professional profile through its Privacy Center or email privacy@vendelux.com. The official policy explicitly offers email if you cannot use, or prefer not to use, the Privacy Center. Ask about your personal profile; Vendelux treats company and event information differently.
This Vendelux opt-out guide is based on the official privacy policy checked October 11, 2026. The policy was readable through a public reader, while the direct policy and Privacy Center returned browser access challenges. We can verify the published email alternative, but not the current form fields or a successful deletion.
What does Vendelux know about event participants?
Vendelux describes a directory involving corporate events, organizers, participants and attendees. Its privacy policy distinguishes Professional Profiles about people from Business Profiles about organizations. The difference affects the action it says it will take.
A Professional Profile can help someone identify or contact a person in a business context. If your concern is the personal information connected to such a profile, request professional-profile removal. You do not need to call it an event cancellation or an account closure.
The policy describes multiple sources and service relationships, including customer integrations and a participatory network. An event organizer may independently hold registration details, even if information also appears in Vendelux. Removing a directory profile does not cancel a conference booking or withdraw data from the organizer's systems.
Start with evidence that names the relevant holder. If an exhibitor emails you, ask where it obtained your details rather than assuming Vendelux supplied them. Our data broker guide explains how the same professional contact information can exist with several organizations.
Which type of request should you make?
| Information or concern | Request described in the policy | Scope to keep separate |
|---|---|---|
| Your Professional Profile | Removal through the Privacy Center or privacy email | Company and event records |
| Wrong information in your personal profile | Claim and update the profile | Removal is a different choice |
| Information held about you | Access request, with identity verification | A data export is not deletion |
| Incorrect Business Profile | Authorized representative requests an update | Vendelux says it does not remove company information as a policy |
| Newsletter or promotional email | Follow the communication's unsubscribe instructions | The directory profile may remain |
| An event organizer's original record | Contact that organizer | Its registration and retention process |
Choose removal if your aim is to stop your personal profile appearing in the directory. Choosing “update” would instead ask the service to maintain a corrected profile. If you need an access report first, say that and explain whether you also want deletion afterward.
The opt-out guide hub provides routes for other confirmed data holders. Use it when a specific disclosure, profile or response identifies another provider, rather than treating all event-related businesses as one system.
How to request professional-profile removal by email
1. Confirm the privacy address and your identifier
Read the official Vendelux privacy policy. Its section on changing, accessing or deleting personal information identifies privacy@vendelux.com as an alternative to the Privacy Center.
Use a professional email address or profile URL that is likely to match the record. If the profile reflects an earlier employer, identify that context briefly. Distinguish the address used for matching from the address where you can currently receive a reply.
Do not send someone else's private contact details to improve the match. If you are acting for another person, explain your authority and expect a verification step. Keep the request limited to the profile you are entitled to manage.
2. State that you want personal-profile removal
A clear subject is “Remove my Vendelux Professional Profile.” In the message, explain that you are requesting removal of the personal profile and associated personal data from Vendelux's services and site, as described in its privacy policy.
Suggested wording: “Please locate my Professional Profile using the details below and process my request for removal. Please confirm what was removed, whether any information must be retained, and any additional verification needed.”
If your aim also includes an applicable sale or sharing opt-out, name it separately. Your location can affect available rights, so include a country or state when needed. Avoid making claims about a deadline or entitlement that you have not established.
This is suggested wording, not Vendelux's own form. You may shorten it when the record is easy to identify. Do not attach a passport, identity card or complete employment history to the first message merely because verification might later be required.
3. Keep the request and handle the response
Save the sent date, recipient, matching details and requested actions. Check for an acknowledgment or follow-up question. The policy describes identity verification for access and profile-management functions, so additional steps may be necessary.
Verify the sender before disclosing more information. If a request for proof seems excessive, ask which fact is needed to match the record and whether a professional email or profile identifier is sufficient. Use a secure channel if sensitive documentation is genuinely required.
- Name the Professional Profile rather than only the employer.
- Include the matching information needed to distinguish you.
- Separate removal from access, correction or marketing opt-out.
- Save any reference number and verification instruction.
- Request a written explanation of the completed action.
What if the Privacy Center is inaccessible?
The policy says the Privacy Center supports access, updates and removal. On the inspection date, direct browser requests encountered an access challenge. Search results also surfaced the official center, but a search snippet is not enough to verify the complete form.
You can try the official page in your normal browser if you prefer the web route. Make sure you are using vendelux.com and select an action that matches your goal. We do not list fields or required uploads that we could not inspect.
If the center remains inaccessible, email the published privacy address. Mention that you could not use the center and give the same focused request you would have submitted there. The policy explicitly permits this alternative; a broken or blocked form does not require buying a product account.
Avoid using a sales demonstration or event registration form to transmit a privacy request. Those forms have a different purpose and may collect unrelated information. Keep evidence of any error if it will help explain why you used email.
The manual data-broker removal workflow explains how to track separate requests. For this case, record “published email alternative” so later follow-up does not depend on an uncompleted web form.
Processing time and proof of completion
The checked profile-removal instructions do not establish one completion period for every user. Time can depend on identity checks, the action requested and applicable requirements. We did not submit a personal request and cannot report an observed response time.
Preparing a focused email can be quick if you already know the profile details. After sending, distinguish three stages: receipt, verification and the actual data action. An automated acknowledgment proves only that a system received the message.
A useful completion response identifies the Professional Profile and explains what happened to it. If the reply only confirms a newsletter unsubscribe, ask whether the directory-removal request was also processed. If the business cannot find a match, clarify the identifier before assuming the data never existed.
If a refusal or retention exception is unclear, ask for the reason and the next available review route. Keep the original request intact. Creating multiple threads with different instructions can make it harder to establish which action remains outstanding.
For a named professional-data record elsewhere, the ZoomInfo opt-out guide covers a separate provider. Contact that provider only when it is relevant; a Vendelux response does not prove what another sales-intelligence service holds.
Personal profiles, company records and event originals
Vendelux's policy says it removes Professional Profiles when the appropriate removal process is completed. It also says that, as a company policy, it does not remove company information from its directory. An authorized business representative can instead request an update to incorrect business information.
That distinction can explain why an event or organization remains visible after a personal request. Check whether the page still identifies you personally or merely describes the company. If your personal details persist inside a business page, provide that specific location in the follow-up.
An event organizer has a separate relationship with registrants, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors. Contact it directly about badge data, attendee lists, registration preferences or information it supplied to others. A request to Vendelux does not automatically withdraw a badge scan previously shared with an exhibitor.
Likewise, an exhibitor's customer relationship system may contain information obtained through its own conversations or registration tools. Ask that organization to change marketing preferences or handle a privacy request according to its own role. Keep this separate from the directory action.
These boundaries are not evidence that removal is pointless. They help you identify which organization can actually act on each copy. A short list of confirmed holders is more useful than assuming one email controls the whole event-data chain.
How to follow up on later exposure
Retain a record of the profile details and the company's completion response. If the same personal profile later appears again, capture the URL, date and information visible, then ask whether the new record is covered by the original request.
Professional information can change through new roles, events or source updates. A later record may use another email or name variation. Explain that difference rather than sending an unrelated new request with no reference to the earlier action.
The policy describes retention for ongoing relationships, legal obligations, disputes and other stated purposes. Ask what is retained and how it is used if a response says only that a profile is no longer public. Public visibility and internal retention are different questions.
A free privacy scan can help identify publicly exposed information as part of a wider cleanup. It does not confirm whether a private event-intelligence profile exists or whether a specific request was honored. Use it alongside, not instead of, the provider's response and record-specific evidence.
If your records identify a separate business-contact enrichment provider, the Clearbit opt-out guide explains its separate request route. Follow the provider named in your evidence; similar services do not share one removal process.
Frequently asked questions
Can I remove a profile without claiming it first?
The policy offers a direct removal route and an email alternative. It does not say that you must maintain an updated public profile to request removal. The company may still need to identify you reliably.
Will removal cancel my event registration?
No. The event organizer controls its own registration process. Contact that organizer if you want to change attendance, ticketing or registration privacy choices. A directory request should not be treated as a cancellation.
Can my employer request removal for me?
A representative should explain its authority to act on your personal information. Managing a company profile is not automatically authority to manage every employee's personal profile. Verification may be required.
What if I only want to stop the newsletter?
Use the unsubscribe instructions in that communication. Vendelux describes a confirmation email for unsubscribe requests. If you also want the professional profile removed, make that separate request explicit.
Will company information disappear with my profile?
Vendelux distinguishes company records from personal profiles and says it generally updates company information rather than removing it. Ask about any personal details still attached to a business record, using a specific URL or description.
Can I ask for a copy before removal?
The Privacy Center is described as supporting access requests, with a report after identity verification. The policy also provides the privacy email. State the sequence you want so deletion and access requests are not accidentally treated as alternatives.
What should I keep if the company says it found nothing?
Keep the request, identifiers searched and response. If you have a specific profile or source disclosure, provide that evidence and explain any old employer or email variation. A general “no match” response may need clarification.
Sources and inspection limits
Last checked October 11, 2026: Vendelux's official privacy policy, its linked Privacy Center and official-domain search results. The accessible policy provides the removal email, profile distinctions and retention limits. Browser challenges prevented a reliable form walkthrough. No account, personal request, identity check or removal result was tested.
