Adsquare Opt Out: Device ID, Privacy Form and Deletion
Request an Adsquare opt-out or deletion using its Privacy Center. Learn why a device advertising ID matters and which personal details to avoid.

To opt out of Adsquare’s advertising-data processing, use the request section of its Privacy Center or email privacy@adsquare.com. For a device-data opt-out or deletion request, Adsquare says it needs the Mobile Advertising ID and an email address for communication. Your name or home address alone cannot reliably identify the pseudonymous device record described in its platform notice.
We checked the public Privacy Center and its form on September 22, 2026. This Adsquare opt-out guide separates device-data requests from website cookies and newsletter preferences. It does not claim that a request was submitted or that Adsquare holds a record for every reader.
Adsquare opt out quick facts

| Item | Current documented approach |
|---|---|
| Consumer starting point | Adsquare Privacy Center, request section |
| Privacy contact | privacy@adsquare.com |
| Platform matching identifier | Mobile Advertising ID, often shortened to MAID |
| Communication channel | Email; verification may be needed |
| Extra identifying data | Provider says phone, home address and personal ID are unnecessary for platform opt-out/deletion |
| Employees, former employees and clients | Email the privacy contact instead of using the consumer form |
| Universal completion guarantee | Not established by the inspected request interface |
Adsquare describes an advertising intelligence platform using pseudonymous and aggregated data, including device identifiers. Its Privacy Center says it does not use names, email addresses or phone numbers in its advertising products. Information you submit to communicate with its privacy team has a different purpose from information used for device matching.
Our data broker overview explains how advertising datasets differ from public people-search profiles. There may be no public Adsquare profile page to search for your name or remove from Google.
How to send an Adsquare privacy request
Step 1: Open the correct privacy page
Go to the Adsquare Privacy Center and find the section inviting a privacy request. The same page links separate platform, website, cookie and US notices. Choose the context that matches the data you want addressed; a website-cookie setting does not automatically delete a platform device record.
The request area offers country, first name, last name, email, request details and MAID fields. Its explanatory text is especially important: the MAID field is generally labeled optional, but the platform opt-out/deletion instructions specifically say the device identifier and a communication email are needed.
Step 2: Identify the device record you mean
Provide the relevant Mobile Advertising ID if you have it and it is the identifier involved. Do not invent an ID, paste an unrelated browser cookie or substitute your phone number. Those values identify different things and can prevent matching.
If you cannot locate the relevant identifier, ask privacy@adsquare.com what information can establish a match in your circumstances. Device settings and identifier availability vary. This guide does not recommend installing an unfamiliar app solely to expose an identifier or weakening privacy settings to manufacture a match.
Step 3: State your request precisely
Explain whether you want deletion, an advertising opt-out, access, correction or another supported action. For example, you can ask the team to identify the steps needed to delete the platform data associated with the MAID you supply and prevent the relevant future processing.
Follow the current form’s required controls without volunteering unrelated data. Adsquare explicitly says that phone numbers, home addresses and personal ID information are unnecessary for platform opt-out/deletion. If a form field appears to conflict with that guidance, use the privacy email to clarify the minimum necessary information.
Step 4: Keep the response trail
- Save the date and the exact device identifier included in your request privately.
- Keep any acknowledgment or reference number the company actually provides.
- Respond to legitimate verification questions through the official channel.
- Ask whether the final response concerns deletion, an opt-out preference or an inability to locate data.
Our broker removal process guide helps organize those records. Avoid storing advertising IDs in a public document or sharing them in screenshots posted online.
What happens after submission?
The Privacy Center says submitted information is used to verify your email and respond to your inquiry. For access requests, Adsquare may contact you if other information is needed. We did not submit the form, so an exact sequence of confirmation emails or a particular success message is not verified.
Do not confuse the provider’s data-retention descriptions with a request deadline. The Privacy Center describes ordinary retention periods for different applications. Those statements do not establish that a newly submitted deletion request takes that long, or that all retained data disappears on the same date.
If you do not receive a meaningful response, follow up with your original date and case reference. Ask whether the team needs verification, whether it matched the device and which processing the request covers. Keep your request focused rather than sending a new identity profile with every follow-up.
The form is not intended for employees, former employees or clients. The page directs those people to privacy@adsquare.com. Using the right channel matters because employment records and customer contracts do not share the same matching process as advertising device data.
Device changes, cookies and reappearance risk
An advertising identifier can change independently of your email address. A request associated with one MAID should not be assumed to cover another device or a later replacement identifier. Tell the privacy team which record you mean and ask about the scope of any future opt-out protection it confirms.
Review consent and tracking controls in the apps or services through which advertising data may be collected. Withdrawing an app permission can reduce future collection from that app, but it does not by itself prove deletion of information already held by another organization. The reverse is also true: a provider’s deletion response does not automatically change every app’s permissions.
Related device-data workflows include the Cuebiq opt-out guide, Unacast guide and Azira guide. Use them only for relevant companies. None of these guides establishes that a particular provider received your location data.
Adsquare’s website also has cookie controls. Those control the website experience described in its cookie notice. They should not be described as a universal removal button for advertising platform records. Keep website preferences, device permissions and a data-rights request as separate items in your privacy checklist.
If you later see an advertisement, that alone does not prove the opt-out failed. Ads can be contextual or based on another company’s data. Ask about the specific record and processing, rather than using the presence of any ad as a deletion test.
Frequently asked questions
Why does Adsquare need an email if its platform does not use names?
The email provides a communication and verification channel for the request. The MAID is the platform matching identifier described in the instructions. Sending an email does not mean that the advertising record was originally indexed by that email.
Can I use a home address instead of a MAID?
The current instructions do not establish that this works. Adsquare says a home address is unnecessary for platform opt-out/deletion. Ask for help matching your device instead of supplying more unrelated personal information.
Is a cookie rejection the same as deleting platform data?
No. A browser preference addresses the context described by that cookie control. A platform deletion request asks Adsquare to address data it already holds for the relevant identifier. You may need both actions for different purposes.
Does a missing record prove I was never included?
No. A no-match response can depend on the identifier, timing, retention and request scope. Keep the company’s explanation and avoid translating a limited lookup into a claim about every historical dataset.
Can a public data broker scan check Adsquare deletion?
A free public-exposure scan can help identify supported public listings, but cannot prove the contents of every private advertising dataset. Use the provider’s request response for this workflow. The opt-out topic hub covers additional distinct providers and removal processes.
Sources and verification notes
The official Privacy Center, form labels and privacy-contact instructions were checked September 22, 2026. Its linked platform privacy notice and US supplement identify the relevant policy contexts. Public browser evidence records the form and minimization instructions. No MAID, consumer identity, completed request or measured deletion result was created for this article.
