Aidentified Opt Out: Delete, Access, or Correct Your Data
Aidentified provides separate Delete My Data and See My Data forms plus email and mail routes for deletion, access, correction, sale, marketing, and processing choices.

Aidentified opt out requests work best when you choose the exact outcome and use a provider-owned route. The current route is Delete My Data form for deletion and opt-out of sale, marketing, and processing; See My Data form for access; privacy email and postal routes for correction, other rights, or an appeal. Keep the confirmation, complete only necessary verification, and recheck the same identifier because an opt-out, deletion, correction, marketing unsubscribe, and browser choice are not interchangeable.
Aidentified opt out at a glance

| Question | Current answer |
|---|---|
| Official route | Delete My Data form for deletion and opt-out of sale, marketing, and processing; See My Data form for access; privacy email and postal routes for correction, other rights, or an appeal |
| Likely data scope | Professional and consumer-profile details including names, email, phone, state or region, job title, company, employment history, commercial information, inferred location, and other fields listed by the applicable notice |
| Verification | The rights page asks email or postal requesters for first and last name, email, phone, state or region, job title, and company so the provider can identify a matching record |
| Timing | The Virginia notice says a failure to act within the maximum 90-day period can be appealed; that maximum and appeal route are jurisdiction-specific and should not be presented as the expected time for every request |
| Expected result | The delete form requests deletion and opt-out of sale, marketing, and processing for the matched profile, while the access form, correction request, or appeal addresses a different outcome |
This table summarizes provider-owned material checked September 2, 2026. It is practical privacy guidance, not legal advice or a guarantee that every record will be found or removed.
What information Aidentified handles
Aidentified separates Delete My Data from See My Data. Deletion should not be described as automatically providing an access report, and access should not be described as an opt-out.
The provider’s state notice says deletion is also the route for opting out of sale, marketing, and processing. Correction remains a separate right and can be sent through the privacy contact when the delete form does not match the intended result.
Choose the right Aidentified request
- Use a sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising opt-out when you want to stop a defined disclosure or advertising use but do not need every retained record deleted.
- Use deletion when you want the provider to erase a matched record, subject to verification, legal exceptions, processor or client boundaries, and necessary suppression records.
- Use access or portability when you first need to see what the provider can match. Use correction when keeping an accurate record is better than deleting it.
- Treat cookie, device, marketing, and universal opt-out settings as separate controls unless the provider explicitly says they also change its main data record.
The listed matching fields are professional as well as personal. A work title or company can be necessary to distinguish people with the same name, but that does not justify sending unrelated identity documents before the provider asks.
How to submit the Aidentified opt out
- Open Aidentified’s official Delete My Data form when the goal is deletion or an opt-out from sale, marketing, and processing. Use See My Data first if you need to inspect the provider record.
- Complete the visible ticket fields with a concise description that identifies the record and exact outcome. Avoid adding financial-account, government-ID, or other unrelated sensitive data.
- If the embedded form does not collect enough matching information, use the official privacy email and provide first name, last name, email, phone, state or region, job title, and company as the current rights page directs.
- Save the ticket confirmation and respond to verification through the official domain. Use the postal privacy address only when email or the forms are unsuitable.
- If the provider does not act within a jurisdiction’s maximum period or denies the request, send an appeal that includes the original ticket and the action requested.
- Recheck the same professional identity after completion, then repeat only for a genuinely separate identifier or newly sourced profile.
Open the Aidentified Delete My Data form and compare it with the Aidentified state privacy-rights page before submitting. Provider pages can change without notice.
Verification and privacy precautions
The rights page asks email or postal requesters for first and last name, email, phone, state or region, job title, and company so the provider can identify a matching record
- Start with the fields shown on the provider-owned form or listed in the current policy.
- Do not email a full government ID, financial record, account password, or unrelated household data unless the official process explains why a narrower verification method cannot work.
- Check the domain, save the request number, and keep replies in the same thread so a follow-up can be tied to the original request.
- An agent should prove authority only through the provider’s current route and should never claim authority that the person did not grant.
How long the request can take
The Virginia notice says a failure to act within the maximum 90-day period can be appealed; that maximum and appeal route are jurisdiction-specific and should not be presented as the expected time for every request
Submission, verification, provider processing, customer or source-owner action, and public search reindexing can be separate stages. A confirmation that one stage finished does not prove that every copy, search result, or downstream use changed at the same time.
Why Aidentified data can reappear
The provider says multiple data categories are updated every 30 days, so a new source, employer, title, email, phone, or profile variation can create a new or unmatched record after the first request
Record the exact identifier, request type, date, ticket, verification state, response, and next check date. That log makes it easier to tell the difference between a newly sourced record and an unfinished first request.
Common problems and what to do
The provider cannot find a match
Reply with one additional matching field at a time, such as an old name, email, address, company, title, device, or network detail that the policy says it uses. Ask what field is missing before sending broader identity evidence.
The request changed only one outcome
Review the selected right. A sale opt-out, marketing unsubscribe, cookie choice, device setting, correction, access request, and deletion request solve different problems. Submit a second request only when the first selection could not produce the intended result.
A customer or source controls the record
Use the customer or original source’s privacy route when the provider is acting only as a processor or republishes public information. Keep the provider ticket because it documents the boundary and may help locate the controlling organization.
Aidentified publishes different state notices. Use the notice for your residence and treat the 90-day maximum and attorney-general complaint route as Virginia-specific rather than universal legal advice.
Manual request versus recurring monitoring
A manual provider request is useful for a known record and gives you direct control. It does not automatically inventory the wider broker ecosystem. Learn how to remove yourself from data brokers, use the data broker opt-out list, and browse the opt-out guide hub.
You can also run a free data broker scan to find other exposed records. Related provider guides: People Data Labs opt-out guide, Cognism opt-out guide, and Apollo.io opt-out guide.
Frequently asked questions
Does the Aidentified opt out delete everything?
No. The result depends on the selected right, matched identifiers, location, controller or processor role, legal exceptions, and source boundaries. Use deletion separately when that is the intended outcome and keep the provider confirmation.
How do I know the Aidentified request worked?
Use the ticket, completion message, access result, corrected record, preference status, or a recheck of the same identifier. A short-term change in ads, email, calls, or search results is not reliable proof by itself.
Should I submit another request for a second identifier?
Yes when the provider describes the match as email-specific, address-specific, device-specific, network-specific, household-specific, professional-profile-specific, or customer-specific. Do not assume one confirmation covers every variation.
Can an authorized agent submit the request?
Often yes, but the provider may require direct written authorization, power of attorney, or confirmation from the person. Follow the current form and do not expose more identity data than the verification process needs.
What if the form or policy changes?
Return to the provider’s current privacy page and follow its official rights, privacy-center, or contact link. Compare the new route with your saved confirmation and avoid third-party forms that cannot prove where the data goes.
