For an El Toro opt out, use its Do Not Sell or Share form and select Do Not Sell or Share My Information for targeted-advertising opt-out. The embedded form also offers a sensitive-data limit. Deletion uses a separate route, and the provider makes its sale-or-sharing opt-out available to all US residents. This guide explains the current request route and how to document the result.

How to submit a El Toro opt out

  1. Open the official Do Not Sell Or Share My Personal Information page and locate the embedded El Toro Privacy Team form.
  2. Select Do Not Sell or Share My Information for targeted advertising, or the separate sensitive-data choice when that is the requested restriction.
  3. Choose Consumer or Third-Party and enter accurate name, email, address, country, state, and ZIP details. IP addresses and mobile advertising IDs are marked optional.
  4. If acting as an agent, attach the required authorization through the official form. The portal warns that missing authority can delay or prevent an agent request.
  5. Submit and keep the acknowledgement. Correspondence goes to the supplied email. If the embedded portal fails, use privacy@eltoro.com or 855-935-8676.

Start from the official request page whenever possible. An old search result can point to a retired form, a generic contact page, or a separate company. Check the provider name and requested action before adding personal information.

Choose the right request scope

El Toro connects offline audiences and digital targeting, so a postal address is a meaningful matching field. Do not substitute a social-profile URL when the form asks for the location associated with the request.

The privacy addendum says the opt-out removes a person from its marketing database and/or suppresses the name and postal address going forward. A suppression entry may help keep a matching record from being reintroduced.

The provider also describes access, correction, and deletion rights that depend on the request and jurisdiction. Use the separate deletion route linked from the current addendum rather than treating an advertising opt-out as a full erasure request.

Write down the outcome you want before filling in a form: restrict future use, remove a matched record, correct an error, or inspect the data held about you. These are different actions. An access response can help diagnose a matching problem, but it does not itself ask for deletion.

Verification and processing: keep useful proof

The form requests contact and address details. Agents select Third-Party and attach authorization; optional IP addresses and mobile ad IDs improve scope. Use the case correspondence for timing. Historical response averages do not establish a promised deadline.

Keep a short request log with the date, official destination, selected action, identifiers supplied, and reference number. Save a confirmation without posting it publicly. If another message requests additional information, return through the official page to verify where that information should go.

A useful follow-up names the case number and asks which part of the request remains open. If you cannot access an old email or no longer live at the listed address, explain that matching problem. Do not invent an address or claim control of another person’s account to pass verification.

Record the difference between sent, verified, accepted, and completed. A submission receipt supports the first stage. A final response should explain the result or remaining limitation. If the provider reports no match, compare the identifiers used with the actual listing before sending another request.

What this request can and cannot change

El Toro targeting, sale or sharing, and sensitive-data limits; deletion and access use separate rights workflows. Review the current privacy notice for exceptions and the provider’s role. A retained suppression record can serve a different purpose from an active marketing profile.

A request to one organization does not rewrite the underlying public record or every copy held elsewhere. If a search engine still shows a snippet, first inspect the source page. A stale result and a live source record need different follow-up actions.

Use the Google personal-information removal guide when the remaining problem is a search result. Keep the source URL, the search-result URL, and the provider case number as separate references so you can describe the problem accurately.

Reappearance and reset risks

A changed household address, another advertising identifier, or a separate source company can remain outside the first request. Browser and mobile advertising-network choices are separate from the postal-address request.

Check the same record and environment you used for the original request. Then look at legitimate name variants, old addresses, and other devices where relevant. Compare dates and identifiers before deciding whether a result is the old record, a separate copy, or a newly supplied entry.

There is no universal recheck interval that proves lasting suppression. Set a reminder based on the provider’s response and your exposure. People dealing with a changed address or a fresh public listing may need another check even after an earlier request was completed.

Depending on where the same information appears, continue with Unacast location-data requests, Azira advertising controls, property-data privacy requests. These are separate requests; completing this guide does not submit them for you.

You can also run a free data broker scan to look for other exposure before deciding which manual requests to prioritize. A scan is a starting point for investigation, not proof that every company has a record or that every removal can succeed.

El Toro opt out FAQ

Must I provide an IP address or mobile advertising ID?

The current embedded form marks those fields optional. Complete required matching fields accurately and add optional identifiers only when relevant to the data you want addressed. Ask the privacy team if you cannot identify the affected record.

What should I do if a confirmation never arrives?

Check spam and the address entered, then return to the official portal. Look for an expiry or resend instruction. Avoid submitting several conflicting requests at once; retain the first case reference and ask support whether the original request needs completion.

Can a privacy request remove every copy of my information?

No. The provider can only address information and uses within its responsibility and the applicable request scope. Other source sites, public records, independent partners, or browser preferences can require separate action. Verify the specific outcome described in the final response.

How should I follow up when the stated window passes?

Send the case number, submission date, requested action, and a brief description of what remains visible. Ask whether matching or verification is incomplete. Keep the response and any appeal instructions rather than assuming a second identical form will fix the issue.

Can I ask someone else to submit for me?

Use the provider’s agent workflow when it is available and you have authorized that person. An agent may need separate proof and you may still need to verify directly. Do not share passwords just to let someone complete a public privacy form.
