A Findem opt out starts on its official Privacy Rights page. Enter the email address associated with your professional information and use the comments box to request removal from the Talent Data Cloud. The current form also offers name fields. Cookie settings are a separate control: rejecting website cookies does not submit a request to remove your professional profile.

This guide explains the public form checked on September 25, 2026. We inspected its fields and Findem's published process, without sending a personal request or measuring removal results. Findem's recruiting database and an employer's own applicant records require different follow-up.

What does a Findem opt out cover?

Findem describes its public rights form as a way to update or remove personal information from the data lake in its Talent Data Cloud. That is the appropriate starting point when you want your professional information removed from Findem's own database.

Its responsible-AI information distinguishes that database from candidate data managed for customers. If your concern is an application you submitted to an employer, contact the employer about its applicant records as well. A platform request should not be treated as confirmation that a hiring team deleted a resume it already received.

The same distinction matters when a recruiter emails you. Unsubscribing can stop that campaign without addressing the underlying data source. Ask the recruiter where the contact details came from if the message does not identify it. Our guide to removing yourself from data brokers explains how to organize separate requests without confusing their scope.

Which Findem privacy control should you use?

Correct a profileSame form; describe the incorrect fieldA correction is not a deletion request
Change tracking preferencesCookie Settings on the siteThis does not remove the Talent Data Cloud profile

Findem's current form combines updates and removals rather than presenting a visible deletion dropdown. The comments field helps make your intention clear. Avoid a vague message such as “fix my privacy” that leaves the team guessing whether you want correction or removal.

You do not need to buy a recruiting subscription to view the public form. The page's demo and newsletter controls serve different purposes. Use the privacy form itself, not the newsletter email field in the footer.

How to submit the Findem removal form

1. Open the official Privacy Rights page

Follow Findem's Privacy Rights page. The older do-not-sell URL currently resolves to this rights workflow. Confirm that the page describes updating or removing information from the Talent Data Cloud before entering anything.

If you land on a marketing page, use the footer's Privacy Rights link. If a consent banner covers the form, review or reject optional cookies. Your cookie preference is independent of the removal request and should not be used as proof of completion.

2. Supply the matching email address

The inspected form shows First Name, Last Name, Email Address and Other comments. Email is marked required in the form controls. Use an address that can plausibly match the professional record and that you can access for a reply.

Do not assume a brand-new privacy alias will match older work information. If your former business address is inaccessible, explain that in the comments and provide a reachable reply address. Ask Findem how to establish the connection without disclosing unnecessary documents.

3. Make the requested action explicit

In Other comments, state that you want your personal information removed from Findem's Talent Data Cloud. If you want a correction instead, identify the inaccurate field and the correct value. Avoid including a full resume, date of birth or identity document just to make the message look complete.

Review your details, then use the privacy form's Submit button. Keep the date and any on-screen acknowledgment. This walkthrough stops at the public controls; we did not submit data or observe the confirmation screen a real requester receives.

What happens after you send the request?

Findem's published privacy-process explanation says its data operations team checks authorization, matches the request against records, and follows up with an explanation of its action. That gives you a practical checklist for interpreting a reply.

An acknowledgment means the company received a request. A completion message should explain what it found and what it changed. A response saying that no matching data was found is different from a response confirming removal of an identified record.

The current public form does not promise a universal completion deadline. Historical company reporting about earlier request handling is not a service guarantee for your request today. Use any timeline in the acknowledgment, and follow up in the same thread if it passes without a clear outcome.

Keep these items in a private request log:

  • Date and official route used.
  • Email address supplied for matching and replies.
  • Whether you requested removal or correction.
  • Any reference number or confirmation message.
  • The stated outcome, unresolved questions and next follow-up date.

This log is more useful than repeatedly submitting the same request without checking for replies. Do not post your completed form or identifying details in a public support discussion.

What if the form fails or your old email is unavailable?

Findem's responsible-AI page also publishes +1 800 214-1467 as a privacy-rights contact route. Confirm the current number on the official page before calling. We verified the published route but did not place a call.

For a form-loading problem, try a current browser and reopen the official page. Keep a short description of the error, the date and the browser used. A screenshot of an empty or failed form is sufficient; avoid attaching a screenshot that exposes other people's profiles or your entire inbox.

If an old work address no longer belongs to you, do not claim that you control it or request a code through someone else's account. Explain the former address and ask for an alternative verification method. Any additional information should be limited to what the company needs to locate and verify your own record.

Findem may need clarification when several people share a name. A “not found” result using one address does not prove the platform has never held a record associated with another address. Ask what identifier was checked before drawing that conclusion.

Can professional information reappear elsewhere?

Removal from one recruiting database does not delete public professional pages or records held independently by another service. If your source profile remains public, other services may continue to obtain information from it. Review the visibility of information you no longer want publicly discoverable.

That does not mean you must erase your entire professional presence. You can consider hiding a personal phone number while retaining work history that helps legitimate employers find you. Decide which exposure you want to reduce and which contact routes you still need.

Related recruiting databases have their own workflows. Use the SeekOut opt-out guide or Coresignal opt-out guide if those services are separately relevant. Their inclusion here does not establish that either supplied your Findem record.

For a broader plan, the opt-out guides hub groups individual workflows and the data broker opt-out list helps track multiple requests. A free exposure scan can provide another starting point for supported public exposures; it is not a Findem removal receipt or proof that every recruiting database was searched.

Findem opt-out questions

Is the Findem opt out free?

The public rights form does not present a purchase requirement. Use it directly for a manual request. Paid recruiting access and third-party removal services are separate products, and you do not need to select Request a demo to open the form.

Must I complete every visible field?

The inspected form marks Email Address as required. It also displays first name, last name and comments. Provide accurate matching context where useful, and clearly state removal in the comments because the same form handles updates.

Will this delete my LinkedIn profile?

No. A request to Findem concerns information it handles. To change a professional-network source page, use that network's own visibility, correction or deletion controls. Keep the source-page action separate from the Findem request.

Will recruiters stop contacting me immediately?

A database request does not recall contact details already held by a recruiter. Use the sender's unsubscribe or privacy contact for an existing campaign, and ask whether it maintains an independent record. Do not treat continued mail alone as proof that Findem rejected removal.

What should I do after a completion message?

Read its scope, save it privately and note any exceptions. If you later receive credible evidence of a new Findem record, follow up with the prior reference and minimal matching information. Recheck the official process because form fields and routing can change.

Sources and verification limits

Sources last checked September 25, 2026: Findem's official Privacy Rights form, responsible-AI guidance and published request-process explanation linked above. Browser evidence shows the public fields and stated purpose. No request, phone call, account trial or deletion-result test was performed.

The guide describes practical steps and provider statements rather than promising a particular legal outcome. Rights and verification can depend on the request, the data involved and the rules that apply to the individual.
