JDM List Services Opt Out: Email, Verification and Scope
Request a JDM List Services opt-out by official email or phone. Understand vendor files, verification, client records and how to follow up safely.

To opt out of JDM List Services, email privacy@jdmlistservices.com or call 1-888-526-0909. State whether you want deletion, a sale or sharing opt-out, or both. Its privacy policy describes a business that passes vendor-provided files to clients.
Address the relevant records rather than assume a public profile exists.
We checked JDM's official privacy policy on October 20, 2026. It carries an August 14, 2025 effective and update date. No email, call or privacy request was submitted. The guide separates the published route from our suggested recordkeeping and follow-up practices.
Understand what JDM can address
JDM says it does not maintain a database of individual consumers. It describes receiving limited personal information in vendor files that go to clients for marketing campaigns. A website with no public name-search tool can still provide a privacy contact for information it processes.
The policy says JDM did not sell or share personal information in the preceding period. It nevertheless offers an opt-out if a vendor-directed file transmission is treated as sale or sharing under applicable law. Describe the action you want without trying to settle that legal classification yourself.
| Concern | Request to make | Separate limitation |
|---|---|---|
| Vendor file | Applicable sale/share opt-out | Source vendor may hold its own data |
| JDM-held data | Deletion or access request | Verification and exceptions may apply |
| Client campaign | Ask who controls the record | Contact the client where needed |
| Denied request | Ask about the applicable appeal | Use the original reference |
A mailing from another company may be the only evidence you have. Preserve the sender and relevant reference without assuming JDM was involved. Ask the sender about its source separately. The opt-out guide hub helps identify other operators when the evidence points elsewhere.
Send a specific privacy request

Confirm the official contact
Open the JDM List Services privacy policy and find its rights or contact section. Use privacy@jdmlistservices.com, not a guessed sales address. The same notice lists 1-888-526-0909 for requests.
A call may be convenient, but keep a written record of the date and what you asked for.
Identify the information and action
Give enough information to explain the record in question, such as the name and address on a mailing or the email receiving a message. The policy does not publish a mandatory email template or require a passport in the initial message. Do not attach an identity document merely because a third-party tutorial suggests doing so.
A suggested request is: Please opt me out of any applicable sale or sharing of my personal information and review my deletion request. Please explain whether JDM, a source vendor or a client controls the information, and what further verification is needed. Add only relevant identifiers and your actual residence information.
Make the reply useful
Ask for a case reference, the action accepted and the response period. If you are contacting JDM about a particular campaign, distinguish evidence from a suspicion. Say that you are seeking to identify the source, rather than claiming JDM supplied it without confirmation.
- Keep the first message concise and specific.
- State deletion and opt-out separately if you want both.
- Save any acknowledgement with the original request.
- Respond to genuine verification questions in the same thread.
Do not send requests for relatives without their authority. JDM's notice recognizes authorized agents and says identity and authority are verified. Confirm the proof required before disclosing another person's records.
Verification and response expectations
JDM says it verifies identity before processing requests and responds within legally required timeframes. Its state notices also describe appeals, but there is no single provider-wide deletion completion promise to apply to everyone. Ask which response period applies to your request and whether verification is complete.
The policy says an account is not required for exercising the listed rights. If a reply asks you to register or buy a product, confirm that you reached the privacy process rather than a sales workflow. A genuine need to verify a record is different from a requirement to purchase a mailing list.
Treat emailed requests for extra proof carefully. Confirm the sending domain or follow up through the published contact. Ask whether a less sensitive identifier will work and how a supporting document should be delivered. Do not forward your entire mailbox or an unrelated customer database just to demonstrate that you received marketing.
For a refusal, ask whether it concerns missing identifiers, legal scope, a retention exception or records controlled by another party. The notice discusses state-specific appeals. Use the original reference and explain the factual point that needs review. Do not assume a deadline from a different state's section applies to you.
Follow the vendor and client distinction
A response saying JDM does not maintain a consumer database does not tell you what a vendor or campaign client holds. Ask whether JDM processed a matching file, can pass on an applicable request, or can identify the correct controller. Keep any resulting contacts separate in your log.
If a marketer holds your information as its customer, unsubscribe or exercise rights with that marketer directly where appropriate. A request to JDM is not evidence that a client's customer record was deleted. Unsubscribing from one promotional email does not describe what source vendors may retain.
The Data Axle guide and Acxiom guide explain separate source-provider workflows. These are related reading, not a claim that either supplied your particular campaign. Verify the chain before assuming a relationship.
The policy contains a consumer-request metrics section labeled as example data. We do not use those figures as measured removal results or as evidence of how quickly your request will be handled. Published route information and measured performance are different kinds of evidence.
Monitor the result and limit reappearance
Keep the operator's response and compare it with the scope requested. An acknowledgement, a confirmation of suppression and a statement of deletion are different outcomes. If the response only confirms one action, ask about the other rather than marking the entire matter complete.
Future vendor files or a different campaign source can raise new questions. Save a later mailing or message and note whether it uses the same address, email or name variation. Reply with that narrow evidence and the original case reference. Avoid sending repeated copies before knowing whether the first request is awaiting verification.
Our data-broker removal checklist explains how to manage multiple companies. The broker directory can help organize independent routes. For public people-search exposure, a free exposure scan is another starting point. It cannot prove that every marketing transaction record has been erased.
A useful private log needs only a few columns: company, relevant identifier, requested action, date, verification and result. Keep sensitive evidence outside shared work documents. If you ask someone else to help, give them the context and authority they need rather than unrestricted access to personal correspondence.
JDM List Services opt-out FAQ
Is there a profile URL I must find first?
The inspected policy does not require a public profile URL. JDM describes vendor-client file handling, not a public people-search directory. Explain the identifiers or marketing record you want addressed and let the privacy team clarify what it can match.
Can I submit without creating an account?
JDM's listed state notices say account creation is not required. Email or call through the official rights contact. We did not test how JDM verifies a request after receipt, so a no-account route should not be read as a no-verification promise.
Does JDM publish a fixed deletion time?
The general policy refers to applicable legal response periods, not one universal completion time. Ask for the period relevant to your request. Do not substitute an appeal-response period for the time needed to process an initial deletion request.
Will this stop all direct mail?
No single request establishes that result. Other vendors, advertisers or customer relationships may be involved. Track the sender and source separately so you can contact the right company if marketing continues after JDM responds.
What if another company controls the data?
Ask for the appropriate contact and what JDM can still do with information it handles. Then make a separate, clearly scoped request to the identified party. Keep the original response as evidence of the routing, not proof of deletion elsewhere.
Source and evidence limits
This guide uses JDM's official policy, checked October 20, 2026, for the contact route and described scope. The screenshot shows published rights instructions. No submission, delivery or removal outcome was tested. State-specific wording is not a personalized legal conclusion, and example metrics have not been represented as audited performance.
