LeadRocks Opt Out Guide: Request Business Data Erasure
Request LeadRocks erasure using its business-email form. Check the official contacts, account-data exception, verification, and response-time limits.

To opt out of LeadRocks, open its Opt-Out of Data Processing page and enter the business email associated with your record in the erasure form. The page also publishes legal@closelyhq.com for questions about the data held. Ask for confirmation of the action taken, because the page expressly preserves information needed to provide services to an existing customer.
This LeadRocks opt out guide reflects the public form and privacy policy checked October 6, 2026. We inspected the business-email field without submitting it. A visible request route is not proof of a completed removal, and the provider's general response schedule is not a measured processing result.

Which LeadRocks request should you use?
LeadRocks provides professional-contact data. Its public erasure page is useful when your business email is represented in that service, while its account-support route addresses customer records that may still be needed to provide an active service. Decide which records concern you before making the request.
| Your concern | Current source or route | Important distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Business-contact profile processing | Public erasure form | Requires a business email address |
| Ask what data is held | legal@closelyhq.com on the opt-out page | Explain the record and request scope |
| Account data still needed for service | Support chat mentioned by the form | Account restrictions are separate |
| Access or deletion request under the policy | support@leadrocks.io | Identity verification may be requested |
Use the official LeadRocks opt-out page. The difference between its brand and the Closely contact domain is visible on that page; the email is not an address inferred from a third-party guide. The opt-out guide hub helps keep this request separate from other professional-data providers.
How do you request erasure through the form?
The inspected page contains one matching field, labeled Business Email Address, and an erasure submit control. It does not display a customer login requirement before that form. Start with the work address actually associated with the professional record, rather than a new mailbox that the provider cannot easily connect to it.
Check the source and identifier
Open the page directly or through LeadRocks's own footer. Confirm that the form still concerns data processing and that the address field matches the current instructions. If you no longer control the old work inbox, use the published contact route to explain that limitation before expecting any later email verification to succeed.
We did not observe a mandatory phone number, home address, or identity-document upload on the public erasure form. Do not treat an outside checklist as a reason to send those details unnecessarily. If the company asks for more information later, ask how it will verify the connection to the professional record and what minimum evidence is needed.
Submit and keep the acknowledgement
- Open the official Opt-Out of Data Processing page.
- Enter the business email that identifies the relevant record.
- Read the note about information retained to provide services.
- Submit the erasure request only for yourself or with appropriate authority.
- Save the date and any acknowledgement displayed or sent to you.
- Follow up if the response does not identify what action was completed.
The page contains standard success and error messages, but their presence does not establish that a submission has been accepted. We did not trigger them or receive an email. After your own request, rely on the actual confirmation and any verification instructions rather than treating the initial button click as completion.
Use the contact route for unclear cases
The opt-out page directs questions about held data to legal@closelyhq.com. The LeadRocks privacy policy also publishes support@leadrocks.io for access or deletion requests.
Explain which route you used, when you submitted, and the professional email or profile involved.
A concise message should separate the goals: ask what data is held, request that the relevant business-contact record stop being processed, and ask what information remains. If you are also a customer, mention whether you want help restricting account data. This avoids confusing a data-subject request with an instruction to cancel a paid service.
What does the account-data exception mean?
The erasure page says LeadRocks will stop processing the requester's data except information needed to provide services, including login credentials and information disclosed in an account. It directs people who want to restrict the remaining processing to support chat. That caveat qualifies the page's broad erasure wording.
For a person whose details appear only as a business contact, ask the company to confirm the affected record and any retained suppression information. For an account holder, ask separately about billing, login, and operational data. The public page does not establish that every category disappears together or that closing an account is necessary for profile removal.
The distinction also matters when another business already holds your contact details. A LeadRocks response does not by itself establish that an independent recipient has erased its own CRM entry. The general guide to broker removal explains why you may need a provider request and a separate request to the sender.
How long does LeadRocks take to respond?
The form promises handling as quickly as possible without stating a fixed number of hours or days. The policy's rights section says it provides information on action within one month of receipt, with a possible two-month extension and notice within the first month. Attribute that schedule to the provider; do not turn it into a tested time-to-removal result.
The policy displays an effective date of May 1, 2022. Some historical sections discuss earlier reporting periods, so this guide does not reuse those statements as current evidence about sale activity. The current form, published contacts, and stated rights-response procedure support the walkthrough; older dated statistics do not support a present-day outcome claim.
The policy also describes identity verification before granting access or complying with a deletion request. The public form does not reveal every later verification step. Keep control of the relevant mailbox where possible, review actual provider messages, and ask for an alternative if the record relates to a former employer's address.
What if unwanted contact continues?
First distinguish a fresh LeadRocks result from a message sent using an older downloaded list. Ask the sender where it obtained the information and when. An email arriving after your request is a reason to investigate, but it is not sufficient evidence that LeadRocks still exposes the record.
If the sender names another provider, use that provider's current process. The Apollo opt-out guide, LeadFuze opt-out guide, and Hunter opt-out guide cover related professional-data workflows. These links help organize separate requests; they do not assert a supplier relationship for your particular information.
A free privacy scan can help with supported public people-search listings while you manage the business-data request. It does not inspect every professional enrichment database or customer CRM. Retain the LeadRocks confirmation and check its exact scope even when a public scan has no matching result.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the privacy contact on a Closely domain?
The LeadRocks opt-out page itself publishes legal@closelyhq.com. Use the official page to confirm that address when you act. The domain difference is not a reason to substitute an unverified contact from another source.
Do I need to buy access to remove my data?
The erasure form is publicly accessible and did not require a purchase or account login during inspection. A later identity check may still be necessary. Viewing a public form and completing the full verification process are separate stages.
Is one email address enough for every record?
The current form asks for a business email, but it does not establish that one address covers all past employers or other identifiers. If multiple records are involved, explain that in your follow-up and ask what each request covers.
Does the form delete my customer account?
The page explicitly preserves data needed to provide services and points to support chat for restrictions on remaining account data. Do not interpret a profile erasure request as confirmed account cancellation. Ask about both actions if both are intended.
Can I rely on a same-day completion claim?
No specific same-day deadline appears on the inspected form. Its general speed language and the policy's response schedule do not establish a measured result. Keep the acknowledgement and ask for a clear completion response.
Sources and verification limits
Checked October 6, 2026: LeadRocks's official opt-out page and linked privacy policy. The screenshot records the business-email intake and account-data caveat. No consumer request, email, chat, or purchase was sent. The guide documents an available manual route and its limits; it does not claim a verified personal-data removal outcome.
