Podscribe Opt Out Guide: Podcast and Pixel Privacy Requests
Opt out of Podscribe measurement through its privacy email. Check relevant IP and user-agent details, verification and the limits of deletion.

To opt out of Podscribe's advertising measurement collection, email privacy@podscribe.com. Its policy accepts requests about advertiser-site pixel cookies and podcast-listening IP addresses and user agents at that address.
It also directs sale opt-outs and data-access or removal requests there. Include the relevant IP address and associated user agent when they apply to your request.
Last checked September 28, 2026. We inspected Podscribe's public privacy policy in a browser. We did not send personal information or test a completed removal. This is a guide to its published request process.

What does a Podscribe opt out cover?
Podscribe's policy identifies two measurement contexts: its pixel on advertiser websites and IP/user-agent collection connected with podcast listening. Those are different from a public people-search profile that can be found by entering a name.
The policy also covers information collected through Podscribe's own website and customer transactions. If you are a listener, explain that your concern is listenership data. If you have a customer account or order-related concern, identify that relationship separately.
Start with the official Podscribe privacy policy. Its “Do not track” section provides the collection opt-out route, and its contact section asks for an IP address and associated user agent when relevant. The opt-out guide hub covers other companies with different matching requirements.
Which action should you request?
| Concern | What to say in your request | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Podcast listening measurement | Opt out of relevant IP and user-agent collection | Deletion by the podcast app, host or publisher |
| Advertiser-site pixel | Opt out of Podscribe pixel cookie collection | Removal of every cookie on the device |
| Existing Podscribe information | Request access, correction or deletion as applicable | Automatic deletion of another company's copies |
| Sale-related processing | State a Do Not Sell request | A guarantee that all advertising stops |
| Customer account information | Identify the account and requested action | The same retention rules as listener measurement |
Specify multiple actions if you need them. An instruction to stop future collection does not necessarily ask for deletion of previously held information. Request a response that explains which actions were completed for the matched identifiers.
If you are also concerned about another audio-advertising provider, the AdsWizz opt-out guide describes its separate controls. Do not assume one audio-related request covers every service involved in delivering a podcast.
How do you send a Podscribe privacy request?
1. Describe the activity and scope
Decide whether the concern relates to podcast listening, an advertiser's website, a Podscribe customer account or several of these. You do not need to send a full listening history to explain the category of collection you want addressed.
Mention the relevant device or app context in ordinary language when it helps. If the problem involves a particular date or network, explain that limitation. Do not assert that Podscribe holds a record unless you have evidence; you can ask the company whether it can match one.
2. Gather only relevant identifiers
The policy says to include the IP address and associated user agent if relevant. An IP address identifies a network connection at a point in time; it is not the same as a permanent identifier for one person. A user agent describes the software making a request.
The browser you use to email the company may not be the app you used to listen. If you do not know the listening app's user agent, say so and ask how to identify the record safely. Do not substitute a random browser string or guess an old network address.
Similarly, a VPN, mobile connection or changed home connection can complicate matching. Explain the situation instead of disabling privacy tools merely to assemble a request. Ask which alternative details the team can use when the original identifier is unavailable.
3. Send the request to the official address
Write to privacy@podscribe.com. A useful subject is “Podscribe measurement opt out and privacy request.” State the requested action first, then list only the matching information relevant to the concern.
For example: Please opt me out of your podcast-listenership IP and user-agent collection for the relevant information described below. Please tell me what further matching information you need and whether a separate request is required to delete information already held.
If your concern is a website pixel, change the wording to that context. Include a reply address you monitor, but do not confuse it with proof that all measurement data is linked to that email. The company may need to clarify the relationship.
4. Retain the response and check its meaning
Keep a copy of the sent message, the date and any response or case reference. Podscribe says data can be deleted upon verified deletion requests, but its public policy does not describe one universal identity-check sequence for all cases.
Review any follow-up before sending more information. Ask why additional details are needed and which secure route is available for sensitive material. We did not submit a request, so we cannot promise an immediate confirmation email or a particular result screen.
How long does Podscribe take?
The privacy policy does not give a specific completion period for ordinary measurement opt-outs. It mentions an acknowledgement period for security-vulnerability reports, but that is a different process. Do not use that security response period as a deletion deadline.
Ask the privacy team for an expected response date. If it requests clarification, save both the request and your reply. A request that cannot be matched needs a different follow-up from one that was accepted and is still being processed.
The policy also describes retention of customer data after contract termination. That customer retention statement should not be presented as a fixed period for every listener's measurement information. Ask what applies to the particular record you are trying to address.
Will Do Not Track or deleting cookies solve it?
Podscribe says it does not change its site's collection practices in response to the older Do Not Track browser signal. Its published alternative for the measurement contexts in this guide is the privacy email route.
Removing browser cookies changes information stored in that browser. It does not demonstrate that historical server records have been deleted, and it may not address a podcast app's IP/user-agent collection. Keep browser settings and the provider request as separate actions.
The Claritas opt-out guide covers another advertising-data service where the requested scope matters. Its controls are not a replacement for a Podscribe request, even if both companies appear in your research into audio measurement.
If a separate identity-data provider is also involved in your advertising concern, follow the Persistent.id request guide. Treat it as a separate request with its own confirmation.
What can remain after an opt out?
An advertiser, publisher, podcast host or listening app may maintain its own records. Podscribe's response does not certify that those independent records were deleted. If your goal includes another company's processing, use that company's own privacy process.
A changed IP address or different app can also make later matching more complicated. Save the original response and ask whether its scope covers a new context. Do not infer noncompliance merely because advertising continues or your listening app still shows a history.
The general data-broker removal guide can help you organize provider-specific tasks. For public exposure elsewhere, run a free data broker scan. A public scan cannot inspect Podscribe's private measurement records or validate its processing of your email.
Record the outcome clearly
- Note whether your request concerns podcast listening, an advertiser pixel or customer data.
- Save the identifier category and relevant time context privately.
- Record any matching or verification question from Podscribe.
- Ask whether the response covers future collection, historical deletion or both.
- Keep separate tasks for publishers, listening apps and other measurement companies.
Frequently asked questions
Is a name and email enough?
It may be enough to contact the team, but it may not match listener measurement. The policy specifically requests the relevant IP address and associated user agent where applicable. Ask for help if those details are unknown.
Do I need a Podscribe account?
The public policy provides an email route. It does not tell listeners to purchase a service or open a customer account before making a privacy request.
Should I send my podcast login password?
No. This process does not require giving Podscribe your listening-app password. Explain the app context without sharing authentication credentials.
Does the request remove a podcast episode?
No. A personal-data request about measurement is separate from a publisher's episode or transcript. Contact the publisher about content you want corrected or removed.
Can fewer personalized ads prove success?
No. Ad selection can change for unrelated reasons. Keep the provider's response and its explanation of the identifiers and processing covered.
Source and inspection limits
The Podscribe privacy policy, checked September 28, 2026, supports the contact route and measurement categories above. Our screenshot documents those instructions. We did not test delivery, identity verification or completion of a consumer request.
