Pop Acta Opt Out: Privacy Requests and Email Unsubscribe
Request Pop Acta deletion or sale-sharing opt-out by form, phone or post. Check verification, form issues, email unsubscribe and response timing.

To opt out of Pop Acta, use the privacy contact form linked from its policy and state whether you want deletion, a sale-sharing opt-out or another privacy right. The form asks for email, first name, last name and a message. You can also call 1-888-920-0791 or write to Pop Acta, PO Box 1177, Fort Collins, CO 80522. Its separate unsubscribe page only describes stopping email communications.
This Pop Acta opt out guide follows the official policy and public forms checked November 6, 2026. The contact form loaded, but its reCAPTCHA frame displayed a quota warning. We did not submit a request, so successful delivery is untested. If the form cannot complete your request, use the published phone or postal alternative and keep a record.
Pop Acta request routes and their limits

| What you want | Route | What to record |
|---|---|---|
| Stop selling or sharing personal information | Privacy contact form, phone or post | Explicit sale-sharing instruction and confirmation |
| Delete personal information | Same privacy request routes | Verification and any retained exceptions |
| Stop email communications | Separate unsubscribe page | Email address and unsubscribe acknowledgement |
| Correct or access information | Privacy request routes | Precise request scope and matching details |
| Challenge a denied request | Ask for the policy's appeal process | Decision date, reasons and appeal response |
The official privacy policy identifies Pop Acta Media, LLC and describes data used for its publications, services and clients. The request links are on the optout.popacta.com subdomain. Use that official connection rather than an unsolicited message asking you to send identity documents elsewhere.
Pop Acta's policy discusses donor information and comparisons between client-supplied information and other records. A request to Pop Acta therefore should not be confused with unsubscribing from one charity's newsletter or deleting a donation transaction held by a separate organization.
The opt-out guide hub can help you keep these company-specific requests organized. A single confirmation should be logged against the company and scope it actually names.
How to send the manual privacy request
1. Open the policy-designated contact form
Go to Pop Acta's privacy contact form. The visible heading is “Contact popacta.com,” rather than a dedicated deletion heading. Its use for privacy rights is established by the links in the official policy, which repeatedly directs those requests to this form.
The initial form shows required email, first-name, last-name and message fields. It does not provide a menu listing each privacy right. You must state the requested action in the message rather than relying on a form title to explain it.
2. Write a short, specific instruction
The message field displays a 0/250 counter. Keep the request concise and identify your state or country if relevant. For example: “Please opt me out of sale and sharing of my personal information. I also request deletion where applicable. I live in [your actual location]. Please confirm the scope and any verification required.”
Replace the location with accurate information before using that wording. This is a suggested message, not an official required phrase. If the field will not accommodate everything, prioritize the requested rights and ask how to provide any necessary follow-up securely.
Do not paste a full identity document, a complete donation history or information about other people into the message. The public form did not expose an upload control during our inspection. Any later documentation request should be checked against the policy and your specific request.
3. Check delivery or use an alternative
Read the form's response after submitting your own request and retain any acknowledgement. During our inspection, the reCAPTCHA frame reported that the site was exceeding its free quota. That warning does not tell us whether every submission fails, but it prevents claiming that delivery was tested successfully.
If you cannot obtain an acknowledgement, call 1-888-920-0791 or write to the policy's PO Box 1177 address in Fort Collins. State the same requested actions and explain that the online route did not produce a usable confirmation. Ask how to supply any information needed to match the record.
- Save the date and route used for the request.
- Separate deletion from sale-sharing and email preferences.
- Keep the exact message and any reference number.
- Monitor the email address used for verification.
- Retain an explanation of any refusal or partial response.
These steps document an attempt and its follow-up. They do not guarantee removal, and no phone call or postal request was made as part of this guide.
Verification, response times and appeals
Pop Acta says it may verify identity and confirm residence in a state that provides the requested right. It describes authenticating an email address or matching sufficient information against its records. It may ask for reasonable additional information to understand the request or prevent an unauthorized disclosure or deletion.
If you receive a follow-up, verify the sender and ask which record the requested detail will match. The identity-verification guide explains why matching, agent permission and document handling should be considered separately. A request for more information is not automatically evidence that the original request was rejected.
The policy states that verified deletion and correction requests are processed within 45 days, subject to applicable exceptions and extensions. Sale-sharing opt-outs are described as being processed as soon as possible, also subject to applicable exceptions. Do not substitute the deletion period for every type of request.
Pop Acta also publishes historical response statistics. Those are past aggregate figures, not an individualized deadline or independent measurement by CrabClear. Use the terms applicable to your request and the acknowledgement you receive when planning a follow-up.
If a request is denied, the policy describes an appeal right and a 45-day appeal response period, subject to applicable exceptions and extensions. Ask for the reasons in writing and follow the instructions tied to your decision. Available rights and escalation routes can depend on location.
For an authorized agent, the policy asks for lawful power of attorney or written authorization and proof of the agent's identity. It says follow-up options are provided if that documentation was not supplied initially. Do not invent a document-upload step that the current public form does not show.
Why unsubscribe and deletion are different
The separate unsubscribe page asks for an email address and says it unsubscribes that address from email communications from Pop Acta and associated websites. It does not describe deleting all personal information or stopping all sale and sharing.
Use that narrow option when email messages are the immediate problem, but send a privacy-rights request if your goal also concerns stored information or onward use. Keep both acknowledgements if you use both routes.
Deletion can also leave some retained records. Pop Acta says it retains a copy of a deletion request for at least two years and describes other retention purposes and exceptions. A retained compliance record is different from a record remaining available for ordinary marketing use; ask the response to explain the difference where it matters.
The company's policy says personal information may come from clients and other sources. A Pop Acta response does not establish that an independent client, donor platform or public source has erased its own records. If another controller is identified, address that source through its separate process.
For example, the DonorBureau guide distinguishes donor-data suppression from broader deletion. The Data Trust guide covers a different political-data workflow. These are related reading, not a claim that either company supplied a specific Pop Acta record.
Follow-up and a broader privacy check
After the response, record what changed: email suppression, sale-sharing restriction, deletion, correction or denial. If it addresses only email when you asked for deletion, quote the original request and ask for a response to the unresolved action.
Reappearance is possible when a new record, identifier or source is not covered by an earlier request, or when information remains with an independent organization. A new email message alone does not identify which of those explanations applies. Preserve the sender and any source attribution before drawing a conclusion.
Use a free exposure scan for supported public listings alongside these private database requests. The scan cannot certify the contents of Pop Acta's internal systems. It can help you identify visible records that need their own removal process.
The guide to removal-report evidence explains why a submission count should be distinguished from a confirmed result. That distinction is especially useful when the public form has a technical warning or the final response only covers part of your request.
Frequently asked questions
Is the contact form really the privacy request route?
Yes. The official policy links to the contact-us form for privacy rights even though its heading is generic. Reach it through the policy and state the right you want to exercise in the message field.
What if reCAPTCHA prevents submission?
The policy provides phone and postal routes. Record the issue and use one of those alternatives. Do not assume the request was delivered because you clicked Submit, and do not try to bypass a verification challenge.
Does unsubscribing stop sale of my information?
The unsubscribe page describes email communications only. Use the broader privacy request route to explicitly request a sale-sharing restriction, deletion or another right. Ask for separate confirmation of each requested action.
Will this delete my donation records everywhere?
No such outcome is established by the sources. Pop Acta, its clients and other organizations can hold different records for different purposes. The response should identify the scope of Pop Acta's action and any exceptions.
Must I send identification immediately?
The initial contact form asks for names, email and a message. The policy allows later verification and separate agent evidence. Wait for verified, relevant instructions before sending sensitive documents. This guide is procedural information, not a personal legal recommendation.
