To opt out of Resonate, open its official consumer privacy request page and use the embedded form. Enter your name, email and state, then choose the action you want, such as Opt Out of Sale or Deletion of My Data. The form also offers access, correction, portability and sensitive-information limits. A browser advertising opt out has a narrower scope than a matched personal-data deletion request.

Resonate opt out: find the current form

Resonate's privacy notice and public request pages were checked on September 29, 2026. The older consumer-request URL redirects to the current Submit Consumer Privacy Request page. Its form loads from a separate provider-linked frame, so the surrounding page text can appear before the input fields load.

Start from the official consumer request page.

The form's provider-linked origin is optout-form.reson8.com. Following the official page first helps you confirm the connection instead of trusting an unfamiliar form address in an unsolicited message.

How to complete the Resonate request

The inspected form requires first name, last name, email and state of residence. It shows separate checkboxes for six request types, a designated-agent choice and a Resonate Identifier field. The identifier was not marked as a required field in the inspected form. A newsletter email box elsewhere on the website is a different control and does not submit a privacy request.

  • Open the official consumer request page and wait for the embedded form to load.
  • Enter accurate first and last names and an email you can use for follow-up.
  • Select your actual state of residence. The available options do not mean every right applies identically in every state.
  • Choose the requested actions. If you want both a sale opt out and deletion, make those choices explicit rather than assuming one includes the other.
  • Use the designated-agent selection only when you are acting with appropriate authority. Provide a Resonate identifier if you have a relevant one and understand its source.
  • Review the information, submit your own request and retain any confirmation or reference provided.

If the frame is blank or clipped, try the provider-linked form through the official page in another browser. Browser extensions and embedded-content restrictions can affect visibility. You can also use the privacy notice's telephone route, (888) 237-9353, to ask about the request process. No need to enter personal data into a newsletter or sales form to troubleshoot the privacy form.

Verification and the published response period

The Resonate privacy policy says it may need further information to verify identity. It directs requesters to the online form for the required information. For authorized agents, it may require written authorization and further confirmation from the person concerned.

The notice says it will process the covered request within 45 days or explain that it needs more time or cannot process it. This is a published response expectation with qualifications, not proof that every third-party copy disappears in 45 days. A telephone request may also need to be put in writing for verification.

Keep the date you first asked, the actions selected and the provider's response. If verification is requested, check that the message matches your request and use a secure route for any additional evidence. If the provider cannot match you, ask which identifier is missing rather than sending several speculative versions of your identity.

Browser opt out versus record deletion

Resonate describes browser and device information used for advertising and audience services. Its policy links an advertising opt-out control as well as the broader rights form. An advertising preference can affect future uses associated with that browser; a deletion request asks the provider to act on identifiable records it can match.

The form's Resonate Identifier field reflects that technical matching context. Do not type an unrelated mobile advertising ID into it merely because both are identifiers. Ask the privacy team how to find or supply the relevant value if it is needed for your request.

The notice also names separate identity-code controls involving other organizations. Our LiveRamp guide explains that provider's independent route when it is relevant. A Resonate request should not be represented as automatically opting you out of every partner or deleting data held by advertisers and publishers.

Resonate's website notice and platform notice have different descriptions of tracking choices. Follow the current control and the request response rather than assuming a generic browser setting performs every action. The guide does not turn older policy wording about tracking signals into a claim about the effect of a particular untested browser configuration.

Check the outcome and reduce reappearance

A useful final response identifies what was found, which requested actions were completed and any exceptions. If your submission requested both deletion and an opt out, check that the response addresses both. Ask whether a limited suppression record remains to honor your preference and whether any customer-controlled data requires a separate request.

New devices, browser profiles, cookie resets, fresh customer uploads or later interactions can introduce new identifiers and records. This is why one completed request is not evidence that every future data flow has stopped. Revisit the relevant controls when your device or account situation changes and retain evidence of any newly observed exposure.

The Lotame opt-out guide covers another audience-data workflow, while the data-broker removal guide explains how to keep requests organized. Use these only for providers relevant to your situation; adjacent business models do not prove a shared record.

Record your confirmed actions in the data-broker opt-out list and find other provider routes through the opt-out topic hub. A free privacy scan can help locate supported public exposures. It cannot read a private advertising profile or certify that a Resonate identifier has been suppressed, so retain the provider's written result for that purpose.

Resonate opt-out FAQ

Why is the form on a different domain?

The official Resonate page embeds its request form from optout-form.reson8.com.

That relationship was observed through the public page. Start there and follow the provider's embedded route, rather than submitting information to a similarly named domain discovered in an unsolicited message.

Is the Resonate Identifier mandatory?

It appeared as an additional field without a required marker in the inspected form. Name, email and state were required. Current behavior can change, and the privacy team may need more matching information later. Do not invent an identifier to get past a field.

Does selecting deletion also opt me out of sale?

The form presents those as separate choices. Select the outcomes you want and ask the provider to explain their effect. A deletion request can involve verification and retention exceptions that differ from the treatment of an opt-out preference.

What if I live outside the United States?

The inspected form is presented for US residents and uses a state selector. Do not select a false state. Use the policy's published privacy contact, privacy@resonate.com, to ask which route and rights apply to your location and the processing involved.

Did the browser inspection submit a request?

No personal information or request was submitted. The inspection confirmed the form's source, visible choices, required fields and privacy-policy instructions. Those observations support the steps, while response handling and actual deletion must be confirmed in the individual request.
