Salutary Data Opt Out: Form, Timing and Deletion Requests

Use Salutary Data’s official opt-out form, understand professional matching fields, and separate sale suppression from deletion requests.

Salutary Data opt out starts with its official Opt-Out and Disclosure form. Enter your professional contact details to request an end to future sale or sharing. The page states a deadline of 15 business days. Deletion, access and correction are separate requests available through its privacy email, phone or form; do not mistake a sale opt-out confirmation for deletion of every record.

The official request page and privacy policy were checked September 17, 2026. We inspected the public embedded form without submitting personal information. This is a documented workflow, not a measured removal trial.

How to use the professional-data opt-out form

  1. Open the official request page from Salutary Data’s website footer. Confirm that the page identifies Salutary Data LLC and explains sale and sharing choices.
  2. Find the embedded section headed Your Contact Info. The observed controls ask for first name, last name, email and current employer name.
  3. Complete the employer address fields: street, city, state and ZIP. The page describes these as professional matching details, so do not substitute a residential address simply because the form asks for an address.
  4. Read the notice beside the form before submitting. Complete any human verification yourself. If the embedded form fails to load, use the published privacy contact to ask for an alternative.
  5. Keep a copy of the request date and any acknowledgement. Follow up if the stated sale/share window passes without a clear result.

The surrounding notice asks for a work email. If the relevant record uses a previous employer or an email you no longer control, explain that to the privacy team. Do not invent employment details or use a colleague’s address to make the form accept a request.

A form notice worth checking before submission

The main notice says request information is used to verify and process the request. During inspection, the embedded form also displayed general marketing-contact language about products and services. These are different messages on the same page; neither proves what happens after submission.

If that wording concerns you, ask privacy@salutarydata.com to explain how a privacy request is separated from marketing contact. You can reference the opt-out page and the embedded notice. Keep the reply with your request record rather than assuming a marketing subscription is required to exercise a choice.

The policy says Salutary Data’s professional database does not contain residential addresses, dates of birth or Social Security numbers. The opt-out form correspondingly asks for work-related information. There is no reason to attach a full identity-document bundle to the initial form based on the controls we observed.

When you also want deletion or correction

A sale/share opt-out concerns future disclosure.

The policy separately describes deletion, correction and requests to know.

Contact privacy@salutarydata.com or use the toll-free number, 1-866-451-4868, for the process described in that policy.

Its website form is also listed as a request method.

For an email request, the policy asks for name, address, phone and other useful identifiers. State that your request concerns the professional database, then identify the action you want. If an address requirement seems inconsistent with the professional-data scope, ask which address is needed before sending additional details.

  • Request suppression when your aim is to stop future sale or sharing.
  • Request correction when a professional field is wrong and you want it changed.
  • Request access when you need to understand the information held about you.
  • Request deletion when you want information erased, while asking what exceptions or retained records may apply.

The deletion wording in the California addendum specifically refers to information collected directly from the consumer. Do not assume that this language assurances erasure of every third-party record. Ask Salutary Data to explain the treatment of the record you identified and whether an additional suppression choice is appropriate.

Timing and identity verification

The opt-out page states that sale or sharing will cease no later than 15 business days after receipt. The policy’s separate delete/correct/know process says it will acknowledge receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days. It also allows notice of additional time within that initial period.

Those are provider-stated procedures, not our test results or universal deadlines for every jurisdiction. Record which request you made before comparing the reply with a timing statement. An acknowledgement is evidence of receipt; it is not evidence that suppression or deletion has finished.

Salutary Data may request more information for verification. Authorized agents need signed permission, with a separate power-of-attorney provision in the policy. Do not describe yourself as an agent unless you are authorized. If a request cannot be matched, ask what specific professional detail is missing.

What can remain after a request?

Salutary Data describes a U.S. business-contact database licensed to customers for redistribution, sales, recruiting and analysis.

A record may therefore exist in another provider’s system even after Salutary Data processes your request.

Its confirmation should identify what it changed, rather than imply that all customer databases were independently checked.

The policy also distinguishes platform users, website visitors and third-party professional data. Closing a customer account, declining website cookies and suppressing a licensed contact record address different processing. Specify the relevant context so a cookie response is not mistaken for a database response.

For follow-up, recheck the same professional identifiers and any known downstream listing. A new employer, alternate email or refreshed source can create a different match. Ask whether a minimal suppression record is retained to prevent reintroduction; the reviewed material does not establish a universal permanent-removal assurance.

Related cleanup and monitoring

The data broker opt-out list helps track separate requests, while the opt-out topic hub collects provider-specific instructions. Use the manual removal guide to organize confirmations and follow-up dates.

Professional-data exposure may also call for the Data Axle guide, Apollo.io guide or ZoomInfo guide. These are separate databases; only pursue a request that fits your actual exposure.

You can run a free broker scan to look for wider public exposure. The data removal comparison hub explains options for recurring follow-up. A public scan cannot establish that every private professional database has been searched.

Salutary Data opt out FAQ

Is the opt-out form only for California residents?

The page is framed as a California consumer notice.

The policy describes U.S. professional data more broadly.

If you live elsewhere, ask the privacy team which request process applies rather than selecting a false residence.

Do I need a paid Salutary Data account?

The public request page is accessible without a customer login. We did not buy a product, create an account or submit a request to inspect it.

Does the 15-business-day statement cover deletion?

It appears on the sale/share opt-out notice. The policy gives a separate acknowledgement and response process for delete, correct and know requests. Keep those scopes distinct.

Should I send a Social Security number?

The observed professional-contact form does not request one, and the notice says the database does not hold that kind of sensitive identifier. Ask for clarification before providing information unrelated to the match.

Does opting out stop every sales email?

No such result was established. Other businesses can hold contact information independently. Identify the sender or source and use its own request or unsubscribe route where appropriate.

Sources and verification notes

This guide uses Salutary Data’s two official pages linked above and the public embedded form observed September 17, 2026. Historical request averages were not treated as a promise for a new case. No email was sent and no removal outcome was tested. Rights and exceptions depend on the relevant circumstances; this guide provides practical source-based instructions, not individual legal assessment.
