To opt out of upcell, open its Data Rights & Removal Request page, enter your name and business email, and select Opt-Out / Delete My Information. The current upcell opt out form combines deletion and opt-out in one suppression workflow. It says matching information remains to prevent your record from being collected again, rather than promising that every identifier is erased.

We checked the public form and privacy policy on September 20, 2026. No personal request was submitted. The instructions below describe the visible interface and provider statements, not a tested deletion outcome.

upcell licenses professional contact data for business sales, marketing and recruiting. Its policy also distinguishes its own database from customer-provided records and enrichment requests. A removal request should identify which of those contexts concerns you.

The opt-out topic hub provides separate guides for other databases. Similar business-email fields do not mean those providers share the same submission route or apply the same suppression rules.

Submit the current data-claim form

Open the official page and identify the record

Visit the upcell Data Rights & Removal Request page. The visible heading is Request Removal. Read the statement beside the form before supplying information: it explains continued suppression and retention of the information necessary to give effect to the request.

The observed visible inputs are First Name, Last Name, Business Email, Phone Number and Request Type. The name, email and request-type controls are required. Phone is not marked required in the inspected form. Do not provide a personal phone solely to fill an optional box if it is unrelated to the record you want removed.

Choose the combined removal option

Select Opt-Out / Delete My Information in Request Type. The other observed options are Data Access and Other Privacy Request. Choose the one corresponding to your goal rather than assuming an access request stops the licensing of your record.

Use an address that helps match the relevant professional record and that you can monitor. If you no longer have access to the business address, explain that through the official privacy contact instead of entering another person's mailbox.

  • Open the data-claim page on the official domain.
  • Enter your first and last name.
  • Supply the business email associated with the relevant record.
  • Add a phone number only when useful for your request.
  • Select the combined opt-out/deletion option and review before submitting.
  • Keep the submission date and any acknowledgement privately.

The blank form shows a Submit control. We did not trigger it, so this guide does not promise a particular confirmation screen, email sender or instant processing result. Follow any verification instructions the provider actually sends you.

Use the published email alternative

The upcell privacy policy lists privacy@upcell.io for rights requests and opt-outs. Use that address if the form cannot match your situation or you need to explain a former email address. Include only the details needed to identify the relevant professional record and the action requested.

The manual broker-removal overview explains how to keep a record of requests and responses. A request log is particularly useful when you contact both upcell and a separate organization using your professional information.

What suppression means after deletion

The form says opt-out and deletion are handled in the same manner. It describes a record becoming unavailable through the platform while retaining information reasonably necessary to prevent future recollection. The policy describes an indefinitely retained suppression file for opt-outs and deletion requests.

That is a narrower claim than destruction of every trace of your identity. When reading a completion reply, distinguish removal from licensed data from retention of suppression identifiers. Ask which information is retained and whether any other records remain for a separate purpose if the response is unclear.

The provider's use of permanent suppression describes its intended process. It is not an independently verified guarantee that changed identifiers, downstream copies or future matching errors can never occur. Keep the confirmation so you can identify the same record if a problem reappears.

For context on why licensed information can exist in several places, read what data brokers do. Removing one provider's active record should not be mistaken for an instruction delivered to every organization that previously obtained information.

Own database versus customer-controlled records

The privacy policy draws a specific distinction between upcell Information in its own licensed database and records customers submit for processing. It says customers receiving licensed information act as independent controllers for their own use. A customer may therefore need a separate request about a copy in its CRM.

When upcell acts as a processor for customer-supplied records, the policy directs data subjects to the relevant customer. If you are unsure which role applies, privacy@upcell.io is the published contact for clarification. Ask what dataset the response covers rather than treating a role explanation as evidence that no information exists.

The policy also describes enrichment through customer-supplied third-party credentials. This guide does not identify every such source or imply that suppressing upcell's own database withdraws all previously delivered CRM data.

If relevant to your situation, the Apollo guide and Cognism guide provide distinct professional-data request routes. Use them only for records or sources you actually need to address; their appearance here does not establish a data relationship for your record.

Response timing and verification

The form says upcell will respond within 30 days or the timeframe required by applicable law. Its policy gives a general verified-request response statement and separately describes 45 days for a verifiable California request, with a possible further 45-day extension when necessary. These statements are source-specific and should not be flattened into a universal 30-day deletion guarantee.

A response deadline is also different from an independently confirmed disappearance from every customer system. Save the acknowledgement, complete legitimate verification if requested, and ask what action was performed. If the company says it found no record, keep that response rather than treating it as a global clean-data report.

Do not send sensitive identity documents preemptively. If additional proof is requested, confirm the official channel and ask what minimum information is needed. The observed public removal form did not contain an identity-document upload control.

If an indicated response date passes, follow up with the original date, address used and reference number. Explain whether you need an update on suppression, access, or customer-controller routing so the provider can address the unresolved issue.

Reappearance and the next useful check

A suppression record is designed to recognize later incoming information. Changed business email addresses, name variants or separate employer records can complicate that matching. If you encounter another record, describe the variation and ask whether it needs to be associated with your earlier request.

Upstream and downstream work can be separate. Correcting a public employer page may reduce one source of outdated information, while contacting a company that already emailed you addresses its own use. Neither action proves the other has been completed.

Use the data broker opt-out list to prioritize other relevant requests. A free privacy scan can help find supported public exposure, but it cannot prove absence from every professional licensing database or private CRM.

Frequently asked questions

Are opt-out and deletion separate upcell form options?

The current form combines them in Opt-Out / Delete My Information. Its explanatory text says they are handled in the same way, using suppression to keep the record out of the service while retaining necessary matching information.

Is a phone number required?

The inspected form includes Phone Number as an optional visible field. First name, last name, business email and request type are required. Review the live form in case the provider changes its controls.

What if I lost access to an old work inbox?

Contact privacy@upcell.io, identify the old record and explain that you cannot use that mailbox. Ask which alternative matching or verification method is available. Do not borrow another person's email to complete the request.

Does suppression delete customer CRM copies?

The policy treats customers as independent controllers for their own use of licensed information. A request concerning a customer's retained copy may need to go to that customer. Ask upcell to clarify the scope of its completion response.

Is 30 days a guaranteed removal deadline?

No. The form describes a response within 30 days or the applicable legal timeframe, and the policy has separate California timing. It does not establish a measured universal completion period for every dataset or downstream copy.

For other professional-contact records, use the distinct Modigie privacy form guide, and ProspectBase business-email request guide.
