To request a WhoseNo opt out, open its official Contact Us page and send a removal or correction request through the Name, Email and Message form. Include the full phone number, country and exact page URL. Explain what information should be reviewed.

The form is a support request, so pressing Send Message should not be treated as proof that a record has already disappeared.

We inspected the public form and its instructions on October 18, 2026. No number was submitted, and no removal outcome was tested. For records on multiple services, use the phone-number removal guide to keep each site's request separate.

Check the record before requesting removal

WhoseNo's current pages describe a community phone-report service. The contact page says its information comes from public sources and can be wrong. Your request should focus on the actual entry you found rather than assuming that a phone-number page establishes verified ownership or a person's present location.

Open the exact result and identify the problem. Is it a comment, an incorrect association, a label or an entire page containing your number? Save its URL and the relevant wording.

If the issue is an older report on a number recently assigned to you, explain the reassignment instead of assuming the report describes your own conduct.

Do not buy a lookup or create another public comment just to describe the problem. The official support form can be inspected without performing a lookup about someone else. Use only the record details necessary for the team to locate your issue.

Use the official Contact Us form

WhoseNo removal and correction contact form and requested details checked October 18, 2026
Public source checked October 18, 2026. No personal request or purchase submitted.

The current route is whoseno.com/contact-us. Its heading explicitly includes support, correction requests and data-removal questions. During our check, the shorter /contact path returned a 404, so follow the site's Contact Us link or use the verified route directly.

The page explains that messages go to the team through an email endpoint. That describes its contact mechanism; it does not tell us whether delivery succeeded for any particular submission. We did not exercise the final submit action, enter personal data or verify what happens in the team's inbox.

Name and reply email

The visible Name and Email fields are required. Use a reply address you control and will continue to check. A misspelled email can prevent clarification from reaching you, even if the form appears to accept the message.

Do not use somebody else's contact details or present yourself as the number owner if you are acting for another person.

Message and record details

The Message field is also required. The provider asks for the full number and country for report issues, the page URL for corrections, and an explanation of the information to review for removal questions. Put those details near the beginning so that the request is understandable without a long narrative.

  • Copy the full WhoseNo page URL.
  • Include the number with its country context.
  • Identify the particular comment, name or label.
  • State the correction or removal you are requesting.
  • Explain your relationship to the information and give a reachable reply email.

Avoid adding your home address, date of birth or unrelated family information unless it is necessary to describe the actual issue. This guide does not establish that WhoseNo needs those details. If the team requests verification later, assess that request separately instead of attaching a bundle of documents in advance.

Make the request specific enough to review

A clear request identifies three things: which record, what is wrong, and what action do you want? For example, identify a comment that links your number to an unrelated business and ask for that association to be corrected or removed. Explain the mismatch factually rather than posting accusations about another contributor.

When a number has changed hands

State that you are the current holder and that the disputed content predates your use, if that is accurate. Ask what evidence is needed to review the association. Do not claim that every historical report is false merely because it no longer describes the current holder.

When someone else is helping

Say whether you are acting for a family member, an employer or another authorized person. The public contact page does not give a detailed agent-verification procedure. Let the team identify its requirements; do not send someone else's identity documents based on a procedure invented by an unrelated guide.

When only one comment is problematic

Identify that comment precisely and distinguish it from the rest of the page. A reviewer may be able to address a specific disclosure without accepting a request to remove the whole number history. Asking clearly helps you understand whether the eventual response covers the problem you actually reported.

Save evidence and follow up carefully

Before submitting, keep a private copy of the message and record the date. If the site displays an acknowledgement, save that separately. We did not verify a standard ticket number, email-confirmation sequence or processing deadline, so none should be assumed from the form's appearance.

If a reply asks for clarification, answer in the existing conversation where possible. Refer to the same page and the same disputed content. If the page has changed since your first message, explain what changed and which part remains unresolved.

A fresh screenshot can help, provided it excludes unrelated people's details.

If you receive no response, recheck your reply email and the contact page before following up. Ask whether the original request was received and what information is missing. Repeatedly sending new requests with different descriptions can make it harder to track whether they concern the same record.

Verify the result and watch for new entries

After the team responds, revisit the exact URL and compare it with your saved record. Check the disputed text as well as whether the page loads. A corrected label, removed comment and inaccessible page are different outcomes.

Keep the actual result in your notes and ask a focused follow-up about any remaining issue.

Public contributions and other source records can change later. If information reappears, compare the content, page address and date before calling it the same record. A new comment may need a new review.

We did not verify a permanent suppression mechanism that prevents every future contribution about a number.

A search engine may retain an old snippet after the website changes. The Google removal guide explains the separate source and search-result checks. A search-result change alone does not prove that WhoseNo changed its record, and a source correction may not immediately update every search display.

Check other phone-directory exposure

If the same number appears elsewhere, use the matching operator's route. The NumLookup guide and CallerCenter guide cover separate sites. They are related reading, not evidence that those operators share WhoseNo's records or must honor a request sent to WhoseNo.

The opt-out guide hub helps you find the right instructions for each actual listing. You can also run a free exposure scan to assess broader broker exposure. Check service coverage before assuming an automated provider handles a community comment or a disputed caller label.

Frequently asked questions

Is removal automatic after I send the form?

No automatic result was verified. The contact page offers a route for removal questions and review. Wait for a response, then inspect the record itself.

Treat a successful submission message as delivery feedback rather than an instruction to stop checking the public content.

Do I have to provide a passport or driving licence?

The inspected form asks for Name, Email and Message, not an identity-document upload. Later verification may depend on the issue. Ask why any extra information is necessary and use the verified support channel.

Do not attach a document because another website claims it is always required.

Can the contact form correct a number report?

The page explicitly accepts correction requests and tells readers to include the WhoseNo URL. Describe the correction and explain the basis for it. We did not test whether a particular correction would be accepted, so the presence of the form should not be read as a promise of the requested outcome.

Does WhoseNo removal stop unwanted calls?

Changing a public report does not block callers or remove your number from every marketing list. Keep the website request separate from phone filtering, carrier help and other directory removals. This distinction also makes it easier to decide which task to address next if calls continue.

This guide uses the official Contact Us page and its current field instructions, checked October 18, 2026. The browser evidence confirms an available public intake route. It does not establish submitted-request delivery, verification requirements beyond the visible form, a turnaround commitment or a completed removal.
