A Datonics opt out should cover each identifier Datonics may process. Open Your Privacy Choices in the browser you want to control, use the browser tool for its cookie ID and related browser data, submit a mobile advertising ID for mobile-device rights, and enter each relevant email for hashed-email rights. The same page supports access, deletion, correction, sale or sharing opt-out, and targeted-advertising choices. Save each confirmation because browser, mobile, and email requests do not automatically replace one another.

A free exposure scan can inventory public records, while the opt-out guide hub provides the distinct routes needed for advertising and marketing identifiers.

Source basis: Datonics' current privacy choices and technology privacy policy were checked August 15, 2026. No browser choice, mobile identifier, email, or personal request was submitted.

Match the request to the Datonics identifier

Datonics says its advertising technology uses cookie IDs, mobile advertising IDs, and hashed email addresses. Its browser tool reads the current browser state and can set a Datonics opt-out cookie. Mobile requests require the current advertising ID. An email request applies to the submitted email's hashed form. Broader access, deletion, correction, and limitation choices use the same privacy page and form.

Read what a data broker is to understand why pseudonymous identifiers are still relevant to privacy. Opting out one browser or one hashed email does not control a new advertising ID, another address, or data held independently by an advertiser or publisher.

Before using Datonics Your Privacy Choices

  • Open the page in each browser profile while cookies are available to the browser tool.
  • Record the current mobile advertising ID directly from device settings or a trusted display method.
  • List every email address that may have been used for advertising matching.
  • Select access, deletion, correction, opt-out, or limitation precisely and avoid unrelated sensitive documents.

How to opt out of Datonics

Datonics' official privacy choices, checked on August 15, 2026; no identifier or personal request was submitted.
  1. Open Datonics Your Privacy Choices in the browser you want to control.
  2. Use the Browser Opt-Out Tool to view collection status and choose access, deletion, or opt-out for that browser.
  3. Use the mobile section for the current IDFA or Android advertising ID, and repeat after any advertising-ID reset.
  4. Use the email section for each email address whose hashed form you want opted out or otherwise controlled.
  5. Complete email or matching verification, then save the request type, identifiers, reference, and date.

Timing, verification, and appeals

Datonics says it responds to covered consumer requests within 45 days. A complex request may be extended to 90 days, with notice during the first 45 days. Verification generally matches submitted identifying information to data already held. If the provider denies a request, the policy says it will explain the decision and provide applicable appeal instructions.

Follow the evidence states in the data broker removal guide and track every browser, mobile ID, and email separately in the opt-out list.

If the Browser Data Collection Status stays on loading, check whether the browser accepts cookies and whether an ad blocker or script filter prevents the tool from reading the current state. Datonics says the tool uses its cookie ID, IP address, and browser user-agent only to facilitate the request. Retry on the official HTTPS page with the minimum temporary permission needed. Confirm the choice before clearing cookies, because clearing the opt-out cookie makes the browser preference ineffective until it is set again.

For a mobile request, use the current advertising ID rather than a device serial number or another hardware identifier. The provider page explains the IDFA and Android advertising ID formats and notes that a reset creates a new identifier. Record the request date and the ID only in a secure private note. After a reset, submit the new ID and do not assume that the earlier preference can match it.

Hashed-email rights are also address-specific. Enter the normal email address in the official form so Datonics can derive and match the relevant hash; do not attempt to invent the hash yourself. Use separate entries for former work, current work, and personal addresses where each may be relevant. If a request is denied because the record cannot be verified, compare the submitted identifiers with the provider's stated data types and use the appeal route supplied in the response where applicable.

Maintain a private request log for each browser, mobile advertising ID, and email-address category. Record the date, request type, confirmation, and any case reference without placing the underlying identifier in a shared document. Check the entries separately after a cookie deletion, device reset, address change, or provider response so that one completed route is not mistaken for universal coverage.

Why Datonics preferences can stop matching

A Datonics browser opt-out is stored in a browser cookie and can be lost when cookies are cleared or blocked. Another browser or device needs another choice. Resetting a mobile advertising ID creates a new identifier, and another email address creates another hash. Recheck after browser resets, device replacements, advertising-ID changes, or new email addresses.

The Eyeota opt-out guide and Quantcast opt-out guide show other identifier-specific controls. Review recurring support in the data removal service comparison if repeated manual checks are too time-consuming.

Datonics opt-out FAQ

Does one Datonics request cover browser, mobile, and email data?

Do not assume so. Complete the relevant section for every browser, mobile advertising ID, and email identifier.

How long does Datonics take to respond?

The policy states 45 days, with a possible extension to 90 days for a complex request and notice during the initial period.

What happens after I reset my mobile advertising ID?

The prior preference does not automatically cover the new ID. Submit the new identifier through the mobile section.

Why does the browser tool need cookies?

It uses a cookie to store and later recognize the browser's choice. Blocking or clearing it can make the preference ineffective.
