To opt out of GroundTruth, use its U.S. States Privacy Rights page and linked request form, or email privacyrights@groundtruth.com.

The form asks for your email, mobile advertising identifier (MAID), state of residence and the action you want, such as deletion or a sale-sharing opt-out.

GroundTruth's system is based on device identifiers rather than a public name-search directory. Browser advertising choices and resetting an advertising identifier have different effects from a request about the information associated with an existing identifier.

We inspected the official policy, rights page and blank form on November 4, 2026. No device identifier or personal request was submitted. These are current preparation steps, not a report of tested removal results.

Choose the right GroundTruth privacy action

Blank GroundTruth rights form asking for email, MAID, state and request details.
Official public interface checked November 4, 2026. No personal information or request submitted.

The official rights page explains the MAID-based workflow. The site now identifies GroundTruth as part of ZeroToOne.AI, while its policy contact names xAd doing business as GroundTruth. Start with this GroundTruth-specific intake; group ownership does not establish that a request clears every parent-company product.

This guide belongs to the opt-out guides hub. GroundTruth is a location and advertising-data workflow, so a missing public profile is not evidence that it has no device data. Conversely, seeing an ad is not proof that GroundTruth supplied it.

Submit a device-specific request

Follow the link labeled completing a form from the rights page. The current form is titled U.S. State Privacy Rights Requests.

Check that you reached it from GroundTruth's official page before entering information on the hosted form.

  • Enter an email address where you can receive questions and a response.
  • Supply the MAID associated with your own device, following the provider's linked instructions.
  • State your actual residence; do not choose another state to make a form accept your request.
  • Use Request Details to identify the action: opt-out, deletion, correction or access.
  • Review the information, submit and retain any acknowledgment or request number you receive.

The four fields were marked as required in the blank form. GroundTruth says it may need more information to verify identity or understand scope. The rights page also warns that additional details, such as your name and proof of residency, may be necessary. That does not mean you should send unrelated documents before the company explains what is needed.

If you want both deletion and a sale-sharing opt-out, state both clearly. For multiple devices, ask how to include each identifier rather than assuming one request covers an entire household. Do not submit identifiers belonging to someone else without authority.

Email, identifier lookup and verification

The rights page explicitly authorizes privacyrights@groundtruth.com as an alternative. It asks you to include the MAID and the rights you want to exercise. Give enough context for the company to understand your request and follow its response about any additional matching or residency information.

GroundTruth links separate instructions for looking up and resetting advertising identifiers. Those actions are not interchangeable. If you want the company to locate information under an existing MAID, consider what identifier your request concerns before changing device settings. We do not recommend weakening your tracking settings simply to manufacture a new identifier for a form.

If your device no longer exposes an identifier, ask the rights team what alternative it can support. Do not enter a made-up string, your phone number or an account password into the MAID field. The provider must be able to understand what data the request targets.

An authorized agent needs signed written permission according to the policy. The company can ask for verification and may deny requests where an applicable exception allows it. Ask for the reason and relevant scope if a request cannot be fulfilled; a no-match response and a legal exception require different next steps.

Advertising controls, deletion and reappearance

The privacy policy's advertising choices describe limits on interest-based advertising use. It warns that changing browser or device, deleting cookies or resetting an advertising identifier may require a renewed choice. It also says some processing can continue for purposes such as analytics, operations or frequency capping.

That distinction matters when checking results. A browser preference can be working while generic ads still appear. A deletion response can concern one identifier while another device remains outside the request. Write down which control you used and which browser or device it covered.

GroundTruth says resetting a MAID breaks the linkage to earlier information in its systems. Treat that as the provider's explanation of identifier behavior, not proof that every historical copy was physically erased. If deletion is your objective, make an explicit request and read the response.

The policy discusses recognized universal opt-out signals subject to applicable law. Such a signal may operate only in a particular browser or device context. It should not be used as evidence that all known identifiers were matched. For a separate location-data company, the InMarket opt-out guide explains its own controls; Kochava's process likewise requires a separate request.

Timing, follow-up and wider exposure

Do not plan around the historical response statistics on GroundTruth's policy page. They summarize past requests, not a completion promise for yours. Our public inspection did not establish a universal current removal turnaround or observe a completed case.

Keep the date, MAID scope, request types and any acknowledgment. If the company gives a response window, record it. Follow up on the same thread when that window passes, stating which action still needs an answer. Check spam folders and confirm that you have not missed a verification question.

For residents of certain states, the policy gives privacyrightsappeals@groundtruth.com as an appeal route when a request has not been reasonably fulfilled. Include the earlier case details and a concise explanation. This describes the provider's published process; it does not determine your legal entitlement or guarantee a particular decision.

Location-data privacy also depends on app permissions and other recipients. Review which apps can access location and use the controls that fit your needs. The Veraset guide addresses another distinct location-data workflow, while Venntel's guide covers its own matching and request limits.

If your concern includes public address or phone listings, run a free data broker scan to look for that separate exposure. A people-search result does not prove GroundTruth holds your MAID, and a clean scan does not audit mobile advertising systems. Check service coverage before paying for help with a particular company.

Frequently asked questions

Can I search GroundTruth by my name first?

The rights process described here is organized around mobile advertising identifiers. We did not find a public consumer name-search locator in this workflow. Use the current rights page to understand what the company needs to find the relevant data.

Is my MAID the same as my phone number?

No. The provider describes it as a device advertising identifier. Use its instructions and confirm what is available on your device. Do not substitute a phone number or unrelated account credential.

Does the form require a paid account?

The blank rights form was publicly accessible and showed no purchase requirement. The company's advertising-platform sign-in is separate. We did not create an account or submit the request.

Will opting out remove all ads from my phone?

No. GroundTruth says advertising can continue and may become less tailored. Other companies, contextual advertising and processing outside the chosen purpose can remain. Judge the request against the specific action acknowledged by the provider.

What if I cannot find an advertising identifier?

Use the official rights email to explain the issue and ask about alternatives. Avoid fabricated identifiers and do not assume a device-setting screenshot proves a completed deletion request.

Does the parent-company announcement change the request address?

The current GroundTruth rights page still supplies its own form and rights email. Use those verified routes. Check any future changes on the official page; shared ownership alone does not establish shared consumer-request handling.
