Neptune Ops Opt Out: Privacy Forms and Deletion Requests

Choose the right Neptune Ops privacy form for opt-out or deletion. Check state choices, identity verification, email limits and what GPC can change.

To opt out of Neptune Ops, use the Privacy Rights Opt-Out Form linked from its official policy, or call (800) 640-1855. For access, correction, deletion or portability, use the separate Privacy Rights ACDR Form. Neptune explicitly says it does not process those ACDR requests through email, so sending a deletion message to its general inbox is not the published submission route.

The forms start with a covered-state selection. Choose your actual residence and review the available request options. Browser tracking choices, matched personal-record requests and deletion are separate actions. This guide explains which route to use and what the public pages can establish before you submit anything.

Choose between opt-out and ACDR

The Neptune Ops privacy policy describes audience analytics, relationship mapping and related data processing. It links two provider-labelled Jotforms. We opened both on November 3, 2026 and confirmed the first-stage state selection and form titles.

Use links from the official policy to avoid confusing Neptune Ops with another company using Neptune in its name. The form titles identify Neptune Ops LLC. The opt-out form and ACDR form serve different purposes even though their first screen looks similar.

Start with your current state and request type

The first screen asks for a Covered State. The observed list includes some options explicitly labelled with future effective dates in 2027. Their presence in the menu is not evidence that those options already apply on the date you submit. Read the label and use your actual situation.

If your state is absent or a future-date label creates uncertainty, ask Neptune through the published telephone route how to proceed. Do not choose an unrelated state merely to advance through the form. The policy itself says rights vary by jurisdiction and applicable exceptions.

For an opt-out, select the listed restrictions that match your goal. For deletion, start with the ACDR form instead. If you want both, keep separate records of the submissions and their intended scope. A response to an advertising opt-out is not automatically a response to a deletion request.

We inspected the public forms without entering a person's identifiers or submitting a request. Later questions can depend on earlier choices. Follow the live labels and required fields rather than assuming that every visitor sees exactly the same sequence.

Supply matching information and handle agent requests

The form controls include contact and address fields and sections related to request details and authorized agents. Use accurate information relevant to the records you want addressed. An email for correspondence should be one you can monitor throughout the request.

The policy says opt-out requests do not require an account, government-issued identification or more information than reasonably necessary. It separately says access, correction and deletion may require additional identity verification. Do not apply the lighter opt-out statement to every possible request type.

An authorized agent may need to provide contact information, the consumer's identifying details, authorization documentation and a certification. If you are acting for yourself, do not select the agent route simply because it appears to offer more options. If you act for another person, obtain proper authorization before sharing their information.

Ask for clarification if a required field seems unrelated to the request. The useful question is what information the provider needs to identify the relevant record and how it should be submitted. Sending a full identity-document bundle without a request can create unnecessary exposure.

The Catalist opt-out guide addresses another audience-data workflow. It is a separate provider process, not an alternative route for a Neptune Ops request.

Save the response and distinguish verification from completion

Keep a private request log. It should identify the form, your selected request type, submission date and any acknowledgement or reference number. If the provider asks for more information, record what it requested and when you responded.

Neptune says verified requests receive responses by email within applicable periods, subject to permitted extensions. It also describes responses where records cannot be found or identity cannot be verified. The policy does not give one completion date for every request and every residence.

  • Save the exact form URL and selected action.
  • Keep any submission receipt separately from the final response.
  • Check for identity-matching questions and respond through the verified route.
  • Record any exception, extension or no-match explanation.
  • Ask which datasets and identifiers the final response covers.

An email response is not inconsistent with the policy's restriction on email submissions: intake and correspondence are different stages. Use the ACDR form for the request, then follow the official response instructions. Do not repeatedly send deletion requests to the general inbox while assuming they enter the same workflow.

If a request is denied, Neptune describes replying to the decision email to appeal where applicable. Identify the disputed decision and the evidence relevant to it. Preserve the original reference so the appeal can be associated with the request.

Separate GPC, cookies and stored records

Neptune says it recognizes Global Privacy Control and distinguishes it from older Do Not Track signals. A browser privacy signal is useful for the purposes the provider describes, but it is not a receipt identifying every personal record held in an audience dataset.

If your concern involves records associated with your name or address, use the relevant matched-record form as well. If it involves browser tracking, review the browser and website controls. Keep the two checks separate in your log so you know which action you actually completed.

For a broader example of political and audience data, see the Deep Root Analytics removal guide. Neither that process nor a browser setting establishes that Neptune's records have changed. Provider-specific responses remain the evidence to keep.

What can remain after a request?

Neptune's policy describes data from public records, licensed sources and other datasets, as well as retention for certain operational and legal purposes. A request to Neptune does not itself alter an underlying public record or certify a change at the original source.

If a response identifies retained categories, ask what remains and why. A privacy-request record can also be retained to document how the request was handled. That is a different category from the audience data you originally wanted addressed. Avoid reducing all retention to a single yes-or-no outcome.

Newly supplied information or a different identifier can complicate later checks. Keep the date and scope of the completion response. If you later have evidence that the same record remains in use, refer to the earlier request and ask for an explanation rather than assuming either permanent suppression or inevitable failure.

Use the data broker opt-out directory and opt-out guide hub to organize other providers. A free privacy scan can help identify supported public exposures; it does not audit Neptune's non-public audience or relationship datasets. Those limits matter when deciding what a scan result can tell you.

DSPolitical has its own audience-data request process; use that separate guide if your concern also involves its records.

Frequently asked questions

Can I email a deletion request to Neptune?

Its current policy explicitly says ACDR requests are not processed through email. Use the linked ACDR form. The policy provides a telephone route for California ACDR requests and a general telephone contact for assistance.

Why do two forms start with the same state question?

Residence helps determine available request options. The form title and subsequent request type still matter. Choose Opt-Out for the stated restrictions and ACDR for access, correction, deletion or portability.

Should I upload identification for an opt-out?

The policy says government identification is not required for an opt-out. Agent authorization and verification for other request types are separate issues. Ask for an explanation before sending documents that do not appear necessary.

Does a no-match response prove my data is nowhere online?

No. It concerns the request's identifiers and the provider's checked records. Other organizations, source records and public listings require separate assessment. Keep the response's scope rather than treating it as an internet-wide result.

Sources and verification

Checked November 3, 2026: Neptune Ops' official privacy policy and both linked Jotforms. Public browser evidence confirms the unfilled first-stage interfaces; no personal identifiers, documents or requests were submitted. Policy statements are attributed to the provider and do not establish a completed removal or independently tested compliance result.
