Nomorobo Opt Out: Privacy Requests and Number Disputes
Request Nomorobo privacy support through its contact form, separate deletion from number disputes, and understand verification and retention limits.

For a Nomorobo opt out or personal-data request, start with the support route linked in its privacy policy. If the help center will not load, the main website's contact form provides another official way to reach support. State whether you want personal-data deletion, a public number record reviewed, or an account issue resolved. None of those actions automatically proves the others are complete.
We checked the privacy notice and main contact form on October 16, 2026. The help-center ticket page returned a security challenge, so this guide uses the accessible official contact form as a support fallback. No personal information or request was submitted. The phone-number removal guide covers other sources of exposure.
Separate privacy deletion from a number dispute
Nomorobo provides call-protection services and phone-number lookup pages. Its public privacy notice describes how personal information is handled and the circumstances in which deletion may be requested. A person whose account data is held by the service has a different request from a caller disputing a spam classification.
The consumer privacy notice currently displays a December 22, 2022 update date. It names Telephone Science Corp. and links privacy questions to support. A separate business privacy notice is available, but its business-client terms should not be treated as the consumer policy for an ordinary personal request.
| Your concern | How to describe it | What needs separate confirmation |
|---|---|---|
| Personal information associated with you | Privacy or data-deletion request | Scope and any retained records |
| Incorrect public number information | Exact URL and disputed text | Whether the page or label changes |
| Account or app settings | The account and affected platform | Subscription and service consequences |
| Unwanted marketing email | The relevant message and opt-out | Account data remains a separate issue |
| Similar record elsewhere | Name the other provider | Nomorobo cannot decide its response |
The privacy notice says the company does not sell personal information. That statement does not make deletion, access or correction questions meaningless. It also does not establish that every public reputation record can be suppressed on demand. Ask for the action that addresses the actual information you found.
Use the official support contact form

The main website contact page loaded successfully during our check. It contains Your Name, Your Email Address, a This is about topic selector, and Your Message. Visible choices include platform-specific support, General Support Question, Report a Number and Everything Else.
- Open the official contact page and enter your name and a reply address you monitor.
- Choose a topic that fits the request, such as a general support question for privacy routing or a number report for a specific listing dispute.
- Identify the relevant account number or public page, using only the details needed to locate it.
- Say explicitly whether you want deletion, access, correction, review of a label, or clarification of a retained record.
- Explain your relationship to the information and complete any anti-spam control the live form presents.
- Save the acknowledgment and continue through the same support thread if the team asks for verification.
Those topic suggestions are practical ways to describe a request, not a verified claim that a particular dropdown value creates a legally categorized deletion ticket. The form is a general contact route. Ask support to direct the request to the right privacy team if the first response addresses only an app troubleshooting issue.
The help center linked by the policy was challenged during research. A challenge is not evidence that the company has stopped accepting privacy requests. It does mean we cannot describe hidden ticket fields or claim to have tested that form's submission. Use the main contact route if you encounter the same limitation.
For a public record, include the exact page URL and disputed field. A message saying only that you want fewer calls can be mistaken for a call-blocking setup question. Explain that your concern is information displayed about your own number if that is what you want reviewed.
What the privacy notice says about verification
The consumer notice's California section says a verifiable request must provide enough information to identify the person or authorized representative and describe the request in sufficient detail. It explains that the company cannot provide the requested information if it cannot verify identity or authority and connect the information to the requester.
Its timing language says required information will be delivered within 45 days of a verifiable request, with a possible additional 45 days and prior notice. That passage concerns disclosure of information. It should not be turned into a blanket promise that every public listing or spam label is deleted within 45 days.
The notice also describes deletion exceptions and retention for purposes such as legal compliance, resolving disputes and enforcing agreements. A response may therefore distinguish records it deletes from records it retains. Ask for the remaining categories and the reason rather than treating a partial response as confirmation of complete erasure.
These are the provider's current published statements, not an assessment of all rights available in your jurisdiction. Do not claim California residency or an agency relationship that does not apply. Explain your actual circumstances and ask which process the service uses for your request.
Avoid attaching a full identity document to the first message without a clear need. If additional proof is requested, verify that the response belongs to the official support thread and ask what minimum information is necessary. Never send a password or unrelated payment details as proof that a number belongs to you.
Follow up on the outcome you requested
Keep a record of the submission date, topic selected, relevant URL and acknowledgment. If you hear nothing, check your email's spam folder and delivery errors. A follow-up should refer to the original request and restate the unresolved action, rather than create several tickets with different descriptions.
For account data, look for a response stating what was deleted or retained. For a public page, revisit the original URL and inspect the disputed content. For a number classification, check the classification itself. A resolved support ticket alone does not prove that each of these surfaces has changed.
If support explains that a fraud-prevention or reputation record cannot be removed through ordinary account deletion, ask whether a correction or review process is available. Keep your explanation factual. This guide does not offer a method to evade call-protection systems or promise that every disputed classification will be reversed.
The Hiya removal guide covers another provider where caller-identification support and app-data deletion are separate. The Call Control guide describes its own contribution and retention limits. Those examples help organize requests, but neither establishes Nomorobo's decision in an individual case.
Reappearance and wider exposure
Deleting information from one account does not erase a number held by independent directories, other users or previous recipients. If a new page or report appears later, record its URL and date alongside the earlier response. That makes it easier to explain whether an old item returned or a different record needs review.
No permanent-suppression promise was verified for every Nomorobo record. Likewise, a reduction or increase in calls is not a reliable measurement of whether one privacy request was completed. Call volume and public exposure are related concerns that need their own evidence.
Use the opt-out guide hub to find other provider-specific processes. For a larger set of records, the manual data-broker removal workflow explains how to track requests over time. A free data broker scan can help identify supported exposure, but it does not replace Nomorobo's support decision.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a verified one-click public delisting form?
We did not verify one. The consumer privacy notice links to support, and the main site has a general contact form. Use it to identify the information and action requested. Do not assume a number-report option promises automatic public suppression.
What if the help center shows a security challenge?
The official main-site contact form was accessible during our check and provides a support fallback. We did not bypass the challenge or submit a ticket. If both routes fail for you, keep the error details and retry through the current links on the official site.
Does the 45-day passage promise deletion?
The published passage discusses providing requested information after verification. It is not a verified deadline for every deletion or spam-classification dispute. Ask support for the expected timing and scope of your particular request, and keep that response with your record.
Will a privacy request cancel my subscription?
Do not assume so. Check the billing channel and account settings separately, and obtain a cancellation confirmation if you intend to stop renewal. A request about personal information can have a different purpose and result from ending a paid service.
