Showcaller Opt Out: Use the Official Removal Form
Use Showcaller’s official form to request removal, correct information, or report a comment. Check the right app, form details, and verification limits.

To opt out of Showcaller at show-caller.com, open its Submit a Request page and choose the option to remove your information. Select whether the number belongs to a person or business, enter the number and country code, and provide your name, email and description. The form also has separate correction and comment-report options, so choose the action that matches your issue.
We inspected the public form on October 18, 2026. We did not submit a request or test a removal outcome. This guide concerns the Showcaller service at show-caller.com; similarly named apps and websites may have different operators and request routes.
If your store listing instead links to showcallerid.zoobidev.com, use the Zoobi-linked caller-ID request guide. It documents a different policy email and a deletion-source conflict.
Confirm that you have the right Showcaller
Start from the website linked by your app or the service displaying your information. A familiar app name is not enough to identify the controller. Several products use similar caller-ID names, and an unrelated business can also use the word showcaller.
Sending personal information to the wrong contact will not resolve the intended record.
The verified route for this guide is show-caller.com/complaint.html.
Its public form labels the site Showcaller and offers removal, correction and comment-report requests.
Bookmark the actual domain before collecting any verification information.
If you are cleaning up records across several services, the phone-number removal guide helps separate the tasks. Keep the operator, URL, request date and result for each listing. An action in one caller-ID app does not establish a change in another.
Choose the right request type

The form's first selector distinguishes three issues. Choose removal when you want the information reviewed for deletion, correction when the association is wrong, or the report option when a particular comment is inaccurate or offensive. A precise request helps the team understand what needs attention.
| Form option | Use it when | Describe in your message |
|---|---|---|
| I want to change my information | An association or detail is incorrect | Existing information and the requested correction |
| I want to remove my information | You want information removed | The specific record and scope of your request |
| I want to report inaccurate or offensive comments | A particular contribution is problematic | The comment, location and reason for review |
These options are intake categories, not promises about the result. We did not verify that choosing removal immediately unlists a number, triggers an SMS or creates an account. Describe only the controls that are actually visible and wait for the service's response about any subsequent step.
Separate a caller label from account data
A public caller association and data connected to using the app can be different records. If you want both reviewed, say so explicitly. Uninstalling an app or disabling its permissions on your device should not be treated as a submitted request about server-held information.
Complete the visible fields
The form asks whether the number belongs to a Business or Person, then provides separate Phone number and Country code fields. It also asks for Your name, Your email address and Description. Asterisks mark the visible fields even though browser-level required attributes were not present on all controls during inspection.
Number and country code
Choose the appropriate country in the selector and check the number carefully. Since the form has a dedicated country-code field, avoid automatically pasting a duplicated prefix into every field. Follow any current validation message shown by the form rather than guessing a format that another provider accepts.
Name and reply address
Use accurate information and an email address you control. If you are acting for somebody else, explain your authorization instead of presenting yourself as the holder. We did not verify a separate agent workflow, so do not invent an extra registration or document-upload requirement.
Description of the request
Explain where the information appears and what should change. Include a page URL if there is one, or describe the relevant app screen without exposing your complete call history. If a number was reassigned, explain that fact and identify the older association you are disputing.
- Confirm the show-caller.com domain.
- Choose removal, correction or comment review.
- Select Person or Business accurately.
- Enter the number and country information carefully.
- Provide a reachable reply email and a specific description.
- Save the request details before submitting.
Do not include passwords, one-time codes or unrelated contact records. If a screenshot is necessary, crop it to the relevant caller label or comment. A full screenshot of your call history can reveal information about people who have nothing to do with the request.
Understand the policy and possible verification
The official privacy policy describes requests to access, correct or delete information, subject to applicable rights and limits. It says the service may ask for more information to confirm identity and the request. It also describes retention for legal obligations or proceedings.
The general policy displayed a May 22, 2022 revision date when checked through the official-page reader. Direct browser access was intermittent, while the request form loaded. A current access check does not make an older policy newly revised or verify that every historic statement remains accurate in practice.
The policy distinguishes regional terms and links to a separate notice for some European residents. Follow the regional link from the current policy when evaluating your own request. Do not infer identical rights, deadlines or procedures for every country from the existence of a country-code selector on the form.
If the team asks for proof, confirm that the message is connected to your request and comes through the official service. Ask what information is necessary and whether a less revealing version is sufficient. We did not verify a mandatory document list or an SMS verification sequence for all applicants.
Follow up and verify the actual change
The form promises a response as soon as possible, not a quantified universal deletion deadline. Save the date, request type and the details you sent. If a confirmation appears, preserve it.
We did not submit the form and cannot verify a particular acknowledgement email or ticket workflow.
After receiving a response, check the original page or caller label. Record whether information was corrected, hidden or deleted from the surface you can see. Ask about any additional scope separately; a changed display does not prove all account records or retained support correspondence were erased.
If the visible information has not changed, reply with the exact location and a fresh screenshot of the disputed item. Avoid opening several unrelated requests without reference to the original. A concise follow-up gives the team a clear comparison between its response and the result you can observe.
Account for caches and separate databases
Caller information can appear in an app, a search result and another directory. Those surfaces may update independently. If a label still appears on one device, ask the service how to distinguish cached information from its current database rather than assuming an immediate permanent result.
For a stale web snippet, use the Google personal-information removal guide after checking the source. For other caller-ID products, the Truecaller guide and Eyecon guide explain separate workflows. Do not send Showcaller credentials or verification information to those providers unless you are handling a distinct request there.
A new contribution or source update may create another association later. Keep the original request and result so you can identify what changed. We did not verify a suppression feature that prevents every future appearance of the number across the service or unrelated databases.
The opt-out hub provides routes for other confirmed listings. A free exposure scan can help assess wider broker records. Confirm coverage before assuming an automated service will resolve every caller label or moderation dispute described in this guide.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to install Showcaller to use the form?
The inspected public request page loaded without an app login. We did not verify any later account requirement. Start with the public route and follow only the instructions relevant to your case; installing an app solely to send an initial request was not part of the observed workflow.
Which option fits an offensive comment?
The form offers a specific option to report inaccurate or offensive comments. Identify the comment and explain the issue. If you also want other personal information reviewed for removal, state that separately rather than assuming the comment report covers every record associated with your number.
Is deleting the app the same as removing my information?
Removing an app changes your device. It does not demonstrate that a request about server-held data was received or completed. If you want information reviewed, use the official form and ask the team to clarify the scope of its response.
Is this the same as every app called Show Caller ID?
No. Match the website and developer information to the product you actually use. Similar names are not proof of common ownership.
This guide covers show-caller.com; use the privacy link in your app's current listing when checking a differently named or differently operated product.
Sources and verification
The official complaint form and policy were checked October 18, 2026. The form fields and options were observed in a browser; the policy was also readable through an official-page reader despite intermittent direct access. No personal request, purchase, verification challenge or removal result was tested.
