Zoobi Caller ID Opt Out: Request Data Hiding or Deletion
Find the correct Zoobi-linked caller-ID app and its policy email. Understand the deletion-source conflict before sending a specific privacy request.

For the Zoobi-linked Show Caller ID & Spam Blocker app, the published policy directs users seeking to hide or delete caller-ID data to care@showcaller.zoobidev.com.
It asks for a mobile number in international format and an email address.
A material caveat applies: the current Google Play listing says data cannot be deleted.
Treat the email as a documented request route, not proof that deletion will be completed.
We checked the policy and its connection to the live app listing on October 18, 2026. We did not send a request, verify email delivery or test a removal outcome. Resolve the source conflict with the operator before relying on an expected result.
If your app instead links to show-caller.com, use the separate Showcaller removal-form guide. That service has a different public request form.
Match the app before sharing information
This guide concerns the Google Play listing for Show Caller ID & Spam Blocker, whose app identifier is com.truecaller.callerid.callername.
The listing links its website and privacy policy to showcallerid.zoobidev.com.
That observed link is the basis for calling it the Zoobi-linked app here.
The wording inside an app identifier is not evidence that the app belongs to another similarly named caller-ID provider. Match the complete listing and policy link, rather than assuming a developer relationship from a familiar word. A screenshot of the app icon alone is also less precise than the full store URL.
If your app's privacy link points somewhere else, stop and use that operator's instructions. Our phone-number removal guide helps you track separate records. Do not send a phone number to this policy address solely because an unrelated app has a similar display name.
Understand the conflict between the sources

The linked privacy policy has an alteration-or-deletion section that gives an email route for hiding or deleting caller-ID data. The current Play data-safety panel displays a statement that data cannot be deleted. Those representations do not establish a consistent, verified deletion process.
| Source | What we observed | What it establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Store listing | Links to the Zoobi-hosted website and policy | Connection between this app and the policy |
| Policy deletion section | Email address and number/email instructions | A published route for a request |
| Store data-safety panel | Data cannot be deleted | A conflicting representation requiring clarification |
| Our inspection | Public pages only | No successful request or deletion evidence |
Do not resolve the conflict by assuming the more favorable statement is correct. Ask whether the email can hide a searchable record, delete stored data, or only open a support conversation. Those outcomes have different privacy implications, even if the provider uses similar wording for them.
The policy also contains statements about contact use and enhanced search that need careful reading alongside the store's declarations. This guide does not certify the app's collection practices. It focuses on identifying the published request route and the questions a reader should resolve before expecting a particular result.
Prepare a limited request

Start with the two identifiers the policy specifies: your mobile number in international format and a reply email. Include the app name and store URL so the team can identify the product. State whether you want caller-ID information hidden, stored information deleted, or both reviewed.
Format the number clearly
Use the number's country code and check the digits carefully. A request involving the wrong country or a missing digit may refer to another number. Do not include a list of other people's contacts to demonstrate what the app displays; describe the particular record relevant to your request.
Ask what the operator can actually do
Mention that the policy offers a deletion or hiding request while the Play listing says data cannot be deleted. Ask which statement applies to your data and why. Request a written explanation of any distinction between a searchable caller-ID entry and other information retained by the service.
Separate display hiding from deletion
Hiding an entry may change what other users can see while leaving some data stored. Deletion concerns stored information, although applicable retention limits may still affect the answer. Ask the operator to describe the actual action and any remaining categories rather than accepting an ambiguous completion message.
- Verify the store listing and its policy link.
- Copy the current policy email accurately.
- Include your number in international format and a reply email.
- Specify hiding, deletion or both as requested outcomes.
- Ask the team to explain the conflicting Play declaration.
- Keep the request and response in a private record.
The published deletion paragraph does not establish a mandatory passport, contact-list export or payment requirement. Do not attach those items by default. If support asks for verification, check the request through the official source and ask what minimum evidence is necessary for the particular action.
Send the policy email and preserve the response
Address the message to care@showcaller.zoobidev.com after rechecking the policy.
Use a clear subject referring to caller-ID hiding or deletion.
Explain the scope in ordinary language.
This is a request for the operator to act, so avoid wording that assumes a deletion has already been approved.
We did not verify a universal response time, acknowledgement template or ticket-number format. Record when you send the message and keep any delivery failure. A sent message, an automated reply and a substantive answer are different stages, none of which alone proves the requested information is no longer available.
If you receive no useful answer, follow up with the original date and the same app identifier. Ask whether the address handles this product's current privacy requests. Do not switch to a similar-looking address found on an unrelated caller-ID website or in a public app review.
If the operator confirms that deletion is unavailable, save that answer and ask whether hiding, correction or another limited action is possible. Do not relabel such an answer as a completed opt-out. The unresolved limitation is useful information when deciding whether to continue using the app.
Review device permissions separately
Changing app permissions or uninstalling the app concerns access on your device. It does not establish that a server-side record was deleted. If you decide to stop using the product, review its current permissions through your device settings and separately follow up on the data request.
We did not inspect the installed app's settings, so this guide does not invent a menu path or an account-deletion button. Device versions and app releases can also change available controls. Use the settings actually present on your device and the current platform instructions when managing access.
If you paid for an in-app subscription, billing is a separate question. A privacy request should not be assumed to cancel a subscription, and cancellation should not be assumed to delete caller-ID data. Check the billing channel you used and keep its confirmation separately from the privacy conversation.
Verify the visible outcome and other records
If the team claims to have hidden a caller-ID entry, ask how you can check the change without uploading a new address book or creating an unnecessary account. Record the surface checked and the result. A result in one app does not establish removal from every caller database.
The Truecaller guide and Getcontact guide concern other services and should only be used for separate records. The similarity of product names does not make those providers responsible for this app's policy or its data-safety declaration.
For information appearing in search, the Google removal guide explains why the original source and search result need separate checks. For wider broker cleanup, use the opt-out guide hub. A free exposure scan can help assess other records, but does not resolve this app's contradictory deletion statements or prove coverage of its database.
Later appearances could be a cached display, another source or newly supplied information. Ask the operator how it distinguishes these cases. We did not verify a suppression mechanism or a promise that caller-ID data cannot appear again after an accepted request.
Frequently asked questions
Is the policy email a verified deletion service?
It is a verified published instruction, not a verified outcome. The store's conflicting declaration is why this guide describes an email request and asks for clarification. No personal request was sent during our review, and the available evidence does not establish that the operator will honor every deletion request.
Is this the Showcaller service at show-caller.com?
This guide covers the separate listing that links to showcallerid.zoobidev.com.
Use the app's current store URL and privacy link to identify the correct route.
Do not assume those two domains belong to the same controller merely because their products use similar caller-ID language.
What if I never installed the app?
The policy paragraph describes a user requesting hiding or deletion and does not clearly document a separate non-user procedure. If you find your number in the service, explain that situation and ask whether the same contact can review it. Do not install the app simply to manufacture user status.
What should count as a completed request?
Keep the operator's explanation of the action taken, the affected data and any remaining limits. Check the visible result where possible. If the operator only acknowledges the message or refuses deletion, record that actual status rather than treating the initial email as a successful removal.
Sources and current limits
The current Play listing and its linked privacy policy were checked October 18, 2026. The source conflict is retained explicitly. Browser inspection verifies the relationship between the listing and policy, plus the published email instructions; it does not establish email delivery, operator identity beyond those sources, processing speed or deletion effectiveness.
