To complete a Vector opt out, use the information-request form at vector.co/opt-out or email security@vector.co. Enter your name, email address and the action you want: deletion, correction or access. The page promises a response and confirmation within 24 hours. That is Vector’s published statement, not a removal time we measured.

This guide concerns GetVector, Inc., the business marketing platform at vector.co. It does not concern other companies with Vector in their name. We checked the public form and email link on September 21, 2026, without submitting anyone’s information.

The form is short, but choosing the right purpose matters. Asking what information Vector holds is different from asking it to stop using that information. A correction request also leaves the possibility of an updated record being retained.

For other providers, use the opt-out guide hub. Each company has its own route, and one company’s confirmation does not settle another company’s handling of your data.

Check that you have the right Vector

Start from the official opt-out page, rather than a search result that happens to contain the same name. The domain ends in vector.co, and the site footer identifies GetVector, Inc. Its public website describes account-based marketing and contact-level activity signals.

You do not need to request a sales demo or become a customer to use the public privacy form. The page contains other email fields, including a newsletter signup. Use the Information request section, which has a purpose field and a Submit request button.

This distinction is useful if you arrived after receiving a business sales message. A salesperson, the company sending that message and a marketing platform may each hold separate records. You can ask the sender where it obtained your details without assuming Vector supplied that particular message.

Our explanation of what a data broker does covers why a business contact can appear in several data systems. It does not establish that any named provider has a record about you.

Submit the information-request form

Open the Information request section. The browser check found three required fields: Name, Email Address and Purpose. The purpose control is free text, not a fixed list of deletion options.

  • Enter the name relevant to the record you want Vector to locate.
  • Use an email address you control and can check for a response.
  • Describe whether you want deletion, correction, access or a restriction on use.
  • Review the request and select Submit request when you are ready to send it.

For deletion, a concise purpose could be: Please delete the personal information associated with the name and email provided, and confirm the scope of the action. If any information must remain, please explain what remains and why.

If your aim also includes stopping sale or sharing, say that separately in the purpose field. The site links to this page as its do-not-sell-or-share route, but the visible form does not offer a dedicated sale checkbox. Clear wording reduces the chance of an access request being treated as your only objective.

Keep the submitted wording and date privately. If the page shows a receipt or reference after you submit, save it. We did not submit the form, so this guide does not prescribe a particular success message or claim an email confirmation always appears.

Use the official email alternative

The page’s Email us button opens a message to security@vector.co with an opt-out/deletion subject. You can use that documented route if the form does not load or if you need room to explain which record is involved.

Send a short request from the relevant address where practical. Identify the action you want and ask Vector to confirm whether it located matching information. Include only the details needed to distinguish your record. The public form does not ask for a passport, payment card or account password.

For an old work address you can no longer access, explain the limitation and ask for an alternative verification method. Do not claim to control a mailbox that belongs to a former employer. Avoid attaching identity documents before the privacy team explains why they are needed and provides an appropriate channel.

The page still introduces three request options, but our current browser view displayed the form and email sections. We did not verify a working chat route. The two observed routes are sufficient to begin a request without relying on an absent widget.

What does the 24-hour statement mean?

Vector’s page says it will honor and confirm requests within 24 hours. Treat that as the provider’s stated service expectation. It does not prove that every copy at a customer, advertiser or unrelated directory disappears within that period.

A message acknowledging receipt is also different from a message explaining what was deleted or suppressed. Read the response for the record matched, the action taken, any retained information and any further verification needed. Ask for clarification if the reply simply says that the ticket is closed.

If you receive no response after the stated window, check spam and delivery failures, then follow up in the same thread. Include the original date and request purpose. Repeated fresh submissions can make the history harder to follow without adding useful evidence.

The general broker-removal workflow explains how to keep request status separate from confirmed changes. That distinction matters especially when there is no public profile page you can check yourself.

What deletion can and cannot change

Vector’s privacy policy describes retention for service needs and certain legal, accounting or reporting obligations. A deletion request may therefore lead to a response explaining exceptions, rather than a promise that every historical record has vanished.

Ask whether the action applies to marketing/contact data, an account you created, or both. If you are a customer, removing personal information and ending a paid subscription are separate matters. The public privacy form is not evidence that a billing agreement has been canceled.

A Vector request also does not automatically change information on your employer’s website, a professional network or another marketing database. If the same work contact appears at another provider, use that provider’s separate route. The 6sense removal guide is one example of an adjacent business-marketing workflow.

For visitor-identification concerns, review the privacy choices of the website you visited too. A site operator controls its own collection and integrations. Deleting a record at one downstream platform does not, by itself, change every future interaction with that website.

Reduce reappearance and track the outcome

Business records change when people move jobs, adopt a new email address or appear on new company pages. A request tied to one identifier may not settle a later record using a different identifier. This is a reason to track what the original request covered, not evidence that Vector ignored it.

Record the response date and the scope Vector confirms. If a later sales message concerns you, retain the sender and relevant context and ask about its source. Do not treat any unwanted message as proof that your particular Vector record has returned.

The RevenueBase opt-out guide covers another professional-data request path. Use it only when it is relevant to your exposure, rather than sending identical requests indiscriminately to every business directory.

For a wider starting point, a free privacy scan can help identify supported public exposures. A scan is not proof of what Vector holds internally and does not replace Vector’s own response about its database.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Vector form free to use?

The public page does not require a purchase or paid account to access the request fields. It is a privacy-request route, separate from Vector’s sales and subscription pages. Our check did not involve payment or a customer login.

Should I use a work email or a private email?

The form says Email Address without a visible business-only instruction. Use the address that helps identify the record and that you can legitimately access. If you need to refer to a different address, explain the relationship without misrepresenting control of it.

Does correcting my name also opt me out?

A correction and an opt-out have different purposes. State each action you want in the free-text purpose field and check the response. Do not assume that a corrected record has also been deleted or excluded from future use.

Can I remove a company’s entire account?

This guide covers a person’s information request. It does not establish authority to close an organization’s account or remove other employees’ records. A customer administrator should use the appropriate account and contract channels for those actions.

What if I cannot find a public Vector profile?

The request form does not require a public listing URL. You can ask about information linked to your identifiers without inventing a profile link. Vector’s response is more useful evidence of an internal match than an unrelated search result.
